Half of his "proof document" being deleted reddit posts is really telling as well. Danced around the main issues, or only addressed a portion. With the beastgames allegations, it wasn't about just broken bones, but men being aggressive towards the female contestants to get them out of the game. What about the raw sewage that leaked onto someone while they were sleeping? What about the people who didn't have access to their medications? What about the appalling lack of food provided to the contestants? It's truly gross how he glossed over a lot of accusations

It was a very soft interview to put it lightly and at times, Oompaville sounded more like an excited fan meeting his idol than an actual interviewer. There were no hard hitting questions. What I took away from all of this mess is that Mr. Beast has finally dropped the "I'm doing this for good and fun" look and revealed the more menacing corporate, private jet flying, fuck with me and find out, political answering machine "I didn't know at the time", "you WILL love me" persona.

Yeah look I'm actually gonna defend Mr.Beast only when it comes to the mold in Lunchly. Every single tray that was sealed fully was completely fine. Out of the large amount of trays sold, only a handful ever developed mold due to a small section of the plastic sheeting over the main tray containing the cheese not fully sealing properly. This would be an easy miss while inspecting the trays for quality control if the majority of the tray had sealed and only a small section remained. It's highly likely like the top of the tray would have appeared sealed, and the only way to have known would have been to remove the plastic. Obviously no one is going to do that until it's sold and bought, at which point it'd unfortunately be too late to do anything about because this small section not adhering well and the product not being air tight is what leads to mold being able to develop. Again, every single tray that was sealed fully was completely fine. Aside from Lunchly, he still has ALOT to answer for.

A factory makes them and seals them and ships them out. And it is true that an employee could do that. I have had 2 moldy LUNCHABLES in the past and one moldy greek yogurt. It happens to ALL company's. You just don't hear about those because it's not just some famous person. I tried to watch the interview, but only got around 20 some minutes in and just couldn’t handle anymore. Mr. B was rambling so much and it felt like he was just dancing around things. I am betting there is a big reason he decided against his original interviewer and chose Caleb. This was a podcast to him. Just a brand new place to hear himself ramble, but without time limit now. I am of course upset that Oompaville didn't get any real answers, but i also feel sorry for him for having to hear him... Remember that Jimmy promised this interview to MorePegasus, who spent days writing down the questions and preparing. He backed off when realizing that it had to be done and recorded by phone. He wanted a podcast setup with someone that he could "charm" in person, and that would let him take the direction he wants, and just talk. Jimmy wasn't pressured at all, and only gave meaningless answers. He did NOT answer anything in the end. Just say, "It's fine when it leaves the factory, but we're looking into safe/natural preservatives we could use to help prevent this problem." Which, since that's not what he said, means they're doing no such thing. Despite the bad reputation they get, preservatives exist for a reason, and not all of them are bad. There are natural preservatives that can be used to mitigate the problem. To dismiss the moldy cheese situation, like it's false, as well as to claim the sign specifically said, "lunchly has been recalled" (which it didn't) is disingenuous and concerning. The guy came out and explained himself. It was during the listeria outbreak, and _thousands_ of meat products were being recalled. The sign just said that there was a recall - it didn't single out lunchly. Dogpack is bad, but making additional false statements to defend himself is just as bad.

As a huge fan of Oompaville, I really don't think he pressed Mr. Beast as hard as he should have. I really do not like how he completely forgot about the whole Ava Chris Tyson situation, when that was the whole reason why this whole controversy started. There was more focus on little things like the cgi in his videos rather than more focus on things like how his external investigation told Mr. Beast to fire all his higher ups. Something must be going on if you have to fire a majority of the higher ups in your company, and there was no push back on that. I do wonder if Oompaville had to send in questions, and if that affected the interview. Either way, I do not know if this cleared up as much as Mr. Beast thought it would because the interview left me (and probably many others) questioning about a lot more things.
