He stated that “We stand in solidarity with the people of the Sahel region, who are resisting neocolonial oppression and demanding the removal of foreign military bases from African soil. We condemn the efforts of NATO countries to establish drone bases in Ghana, Liberia, and Benin, as these are not for our development but for waging war on innocent people. Our priority must be providing clean water, defeating senseless jihadist movements, and ensuring that our resources are used for building a new, self-reliant Africa that guarantees the wellbeing of all its citizens. We salute Niger's leadership in dismantling foreign military bases and call for continued resistance and unity as the path to true African freedom and prosperity”.
