He specifically emphasized on “foreign work experience or work experience outside Canada” while discussing FSWP. What if an international student gained work experience while studying in Canada, does that count for FSWP?

Does it work for all professions ? What about healthcare ?

Is there a logical reason for this discrepancy? I'm quite sure the biology of human brain doesn't change just because you're in canada or not. If a person can do it outside canada, then they should be able to do it in canada as well. Yet another point that proves that IRCC are just trying their best to overcomplicate the bureaucracy for the F of it. Ps: thanks for the clarification, Mark 👍 much appreciated

I got my diploma as an Engineer in my country in 2017. I started working in a company as an engineer but 4 months after I moved to canada to study. In the meantime i was working virtually for the same company in my country for 2 years. those 2 years count as foreing experience for the express entry? I;ve got a letter from the company as a proof.

Thanks for your informative videos. Please I have a different question. I am going to apply for SINP EXPRESS ENTRY. I have a relative in Saskatchewan, They have been living there for 5 years. I will upload their documents in my EOI profile. However my relatives are planning to move to another province. Firstly I want to know overall processing time for SINP EE. Secondly, after getting Invitation letter from EOI (Saskatchewan provincia) Should I upload the same documents of my relatives in EXPRESS ENTRY profile for my PR. Besides If my relatives move to another province before getting approval for my PR from EXPRESS ENTRY, will I be rejected for this or after uploading documents in EE profile it doesn't matter which province my relatives are living. I would be grateful if you reply my questions. Thanks in advance....

I have a one question regarding my work experience. I'm working in Canada. I got a job as a roof designer in a company and i have worked there from august 2021 to august 2022. For first 5 months I worked as a employee(payroll) but after December I had to move from that city so company provided me work from home(contract worker) but I got paid by per project and I have to pay tax by my self(like freelancer). I have all invoice and other documents that you mention in video and I got my pay in bank account directly. so I have confusion that does my work experience count in CEC? would really appreciate your response. Thanks.

Hello. I have a different query...it's really urgent and been stressing me out. What if a person's Education was for example - a Bachelors in Mass Communications (Advertising major) but while creating an Express Entry profile - the online form does NOT provide any option for any of these Media/ Communications/Advertising as the FIELD of STUDY? In such a case what would the correct Field of Study?? Please help..

Hi Mark. I hope you are doing well. By continuous (Canadian Experience) does it mean a week off would make you ineligible to apply for FSW/CEC? Thank you!
@AmritGrewal313 жыл бұрын
If you can produce evidence of it being your vacation, then it shouldn't matter. I think it only means you didn't change the employer before 1 yr was complete. However, it's IRCC we're talking about. Who knows what sort-of BS rule they have regarding it. So, I'd also like to know a definitive answer to this question 🤷🏻♂️
@CanadianImmigrationInstitute3 жыл бұрын
Don't confuse the regulations for each program. FSW must be continuous. In terms of what constitutes "continuous", paid vacations are often fine; however, unpaid leaves are not. How long can you be away? That is a tough question; however, anything longer than 3 weeks....maybe a month (even if it was paid) would be stretching it. Ultimately, the IRCC officer has discretion.
@mitchac1233 жыл бұрын
@@CanadianImmigrationInstitute Thanks Mark. I was thinking about those 1 day leaves where I had to take CELPIP exams or when I take a day off to do a medical exam. Based on what you are advising it's okay.

Hi Mark, Thank you for that great info! I would like to know what if someone was studying full time “in Canada” and at the same time was working remotely for an employer “outside of Canada”. Could that experience count towards FSW program as well?!
