It's the best decision ever if they remove the LMIA points! I have been working in the government for 2 years and I could qualify for the LMIA exemption for my position but of course they didn't give it to me but thousands of people working at Tim Hurtons can get easily. Hi, I came to canada as an international student in 2018 September, I didn’t finish my diploma , i moved to Winnipeg MB as an LMIA based work permit holder. I thought I will get enough points to qualify for MPNP, unfortunately 200 points were deducted. Therefore, I am not less likely going to get nominated for MPNP as the cut off is very high. And my main fallback is my education, I only have secondary education. I have been is Canada over 6 years now, I am from Bangladesh, and I am looking forward to apply for H&C if I qualify for that. Or if i qualify for any other way for Permanent residency in Canada. My LMIA based work permit expires on January 2026
