As always much enjoyment for me Jannine. These paintings are coming along nicel, gorgeous colours. The pens are a great addition. Can l just ask about the cupboard in the corner ? I need to replace a storage unit that is square in its dimensions and is not really practical. Is it from IKEA? Thank you.....Alioban ❤

Thank you, Alioban! The cupboard is the Pax system from Ikea. I like how versatile it is because you can get it in different widths and depths. And you can choose if you want drawers, doors or other interior storage bits. Mine is the 50x35cm frame.

Enjoy seeing you enjoying😉🤪 and the finger painting is yuuuummmmiiiiii! This stage of process is so cool and liberating, when you know you have so many layers left! Creating always should be like this, play, play take a step back, observe, and repeat! have fun!😊

Thanks! You might enjoy my next video too if you liked the finger painting 😄. It’s so much more difficult to still play in the final layers. But it usually pays off if you manage to do it.

Good afternoon from sunny Florida! And congratulations on the new studio, I love it. I was hoping that you had a moment to share with me what you are using to secure the paintings that you are working on. I would also like to know if it is adjustable or static. It appears to be some type of screw but I am no carpenter by any means. Thanks for help and thanks for sharing these videos, I really enjoy your work.

Thank you! That’s wonderful to hear! For my painting wall I’ve screwed IKEA Ivar corner posts into the wall. I’ve painted the posts white to make them blend into the wall better. Into the holes I add metal bolts from the hardware store. I can move the bolts around, which means I can hang my paintings an any height and move them around easily. Hope that helps!

@@jclosestudio thank you! It does help a lot. I’m very lucky to have an ikea nearby. Also, I was recently inspired by one of your sketchbook videos and pulled out a set of water soluble soft pastels by Charvin. It’s a small set with great colors and the pastels are square which makes them great for a variety of marks. I bought mine from Jerry’s for about 8 US dollars. If you can get them locally, I highly recommend, if you happen to be looking for any suggestions! Thanks again and have a great weekend. Can’t wait for the next video!

Hello Jeannine! Wonderful video! Would you be able to show us a closeup of the back and the hook attachment. It looks so simple and magical…l I have a complicated system which I would really like to simplify. Thanks in Advance😊

@@usfgirl07 Thanks for the tip! I didn't think I'd heard of them, but just looked them up and remembered that I stumbled across their beautiful store in Paris a couple of years ago! Will definitely have a look where I can get them around here. And if you ever happen to be in Paris, I recommend visiting their store.

@rincess6870 Thank you! I've just added some photos and links explaining my painting wall on my Instagram stories. I have also added that to my Instagram story highlights. I hope this link works: instagram.com/stories/highlights/17848580471715614/ It's the last three stories in the 'Tutorials' highlight.

Love the playful marks you get when using your finger lightly on a moody painting. It makes me want to try it as the last thing in a composition, but that will take some courage.

Painting with fingers is so much fun! I should do that more often. Would be great as a last highlight on a painting, but you are right, that is very scary! You could add a layer of gloss medium to your painting and let it dry before you attempt to add the last bits, then you can wipe it away if you don’t like it without destroying your painting

Nooooooo Jeannine. Now you are using a new product that needs to get added to my long "would be wonderful to have" list 😅😅 Beautiful work....
