@@kansasrose2909 Archewell Foundation: A Celebrity PR Machine Masquerading as Philanthropy ⚠‼ The Archewell Foundation’s so-called mission to create “positive change around the world” is a masterclass in vagueness, empty promises, and headline-grabbing PR moves that amount to little more than a glorified vanity project for Meghan Markle and Harry. When you peel back the buzzwords and jargon, it becomes glaringly obvious: Archewell is more about elevating their brand than helping the vulnerable. Let’s begin with the staff-if you can even keep track of them. The Archewell Foundation has become notorious for its revolving door of executives and key employees. And let’s not forget their notorious “pledge” debacle. Their recent trip to Colombia to 'empower' youth with the “transformative power of arts and dance” is another perfect example of their smoke-and-mirrors philanthropy. Buzzwords like ‘amplification’ and ‘equitable impact’ are great for press releases, but where are the concrete results? Handing out a few drums and calling it a day is hardly the world-changing impact they claim to have. No measurable outcomes, no real commitment-just another PR stunt to make headlines and keep their brand relevant. The Archewell Foundation’s financials paint a similarly damning picture. In 2021, they managed to rake in an impressive $13 million. By 2022, however, that figure nosedived to a paltry $2 million-a staggering $11 million drop in donations. If that doesn’t scream red flags, what does? According to CharityWatch’s CEO, Laurie Styron, it’s not uncommon for “celebrity passion projects” like Archewell to rely on a handful of wealthy donors to keep afloat. But even with that crutch, Archewell is struggling to stay relevant in the charity world. The charity’s reluctance to provide financial transparency only adds fuel to the fire. Requests for audited financial statements? Ignored. Responses to inquiries about their finances? Non-existent. But perhaps most disturbing is their alignment with global political movements pushing censorship and controlling narratives under the guise of "tech responsibility." Archewell’s donations and grants align suspiciously with these movements, using causes like ‘climate change’ and ‘online harm prevention’ to stifle free speech and push their own political agendas. James Holt, Catherine St. Laurent, Richard Genow, and Andrew Meyer-none lasted long, with most leaving after short stints working what amounts to one-hour work weeks on paper. With high-profile names constantly jumping ship, the question arises: why can’t they retain top talent? The constant exodus speaks volumes about the chaotic mismanagement within the organization. And let’s not forget their notorious “pledge” debacle. Much like Amber Heard’s infamous courtroom moment where she conflated a ‘pledge’ with an actual donation, Harry and Meghan seem to have adopted the same creative accounting. They throw around promises of grand initiatives and charitable contributions, but the follow-through? Practically non-existent. Announcing lofty donations and then conveniently failing to provide any real evidence of these funds reaching those in need has become their modus operandi. Where’s the accountability? They claim to have a whistleblower policy, conflict of interest guidelines, and other corporate-sounding jargon-but how can anyone trust a foundation whose entire governance board consists of just Harry and Meghan, two individuals clearly more concerned with their public image than with making a real difference? But perhaps most disturbing is their alignment with global political movements pushing censorship and controlling narratives under the guise of "tech responsibility." Archewell’s donations and grants align suspiciously with these movements, using causes like ‘climate change’ and ‘online harm prevention’ to stifle free speech and push their own political agendas. They exploit marginalized communities-veterans, youth, the elderly-not to truly empower them, but to further their own personal brand and gain social and political capital.ll

Meghan used suicidal ideation to manipulate her husband, she even went to great lengths explaining to him how she'd do it, but stopped after she felt sorry for him, not wanting him to lose another woman in his life; that, my friends , is called emotional abuse , emotional manipulation , coercive control . So what did Harry do afterwards ? He dragged his heavily pregnant wife to watch Cirque du Soleil instead of getting her help because * check notes * _HE_ felt ashamed . The math ain't mathing and to grin "I'm still here" shows her plan worked. Exploiting other people's sorrows for clout is just abhorrent , especially when bullies such as H & M are known for abusing their staff and when they're not hiring and firing them their fans on social media are harassing people critical of their behaviour and hypocrisy . Stop using the grief of others to shield yourselves from criticism , it's ghoulish .

@ocdman202 0 seconds ago I agree with the comments saying that Harry and Megan’s continuous, foul and, by the way, to this day unsubstantiated and unproven, personal attacks on the royal family have done far more to create sympathy and respect for the royals than for them. In fact Harry and Megan’s behaviour have made them look nasty, shady, unscrupulous and untrustworthy, and no amount of PR spin is going to undo that. The only thing that might save Harry and Meghan from being thoroughly disliked and or ignored (no doubt a worse fate for two attention junkies) by the majority of the public in the USA, Britain and the Commonwealth is for them to change their ways and become decent human beings who get on with genuinely doing some good in this world rather than spending their lives telling us that they are absolutely, perfectly, fabulous superheroes, and paying their “friends” and employees to do likewise . I won’t be holding my breath.

@mommapanda57363 ай бұрын
I will never forget that when Prince Phillip was in hospital, Meghan and Harry continued with their disingenuous and lack of empathy Oprah interview. When Prince Harry’s Grandfather was dying, they were so mean and childish. At this point, I knew they didn’t have the intelligence, understanding or statesmanship to be leaders on the world stage, and Meghan’s plan was always to drag Harry to California. Emotionally mature adults would have had conversations and dealt with issues in private as a family. But Meghan Markle didn’t care; she was out for revenge, so she sat with Lie-Oprah and orchestrated a smear campaign to attack Harry’s family because she needed an excuse as to why they left; it had to be the Royal Family and not her who was chasing Hollywood fame and money. (BTW, Harry messed up and said to Oprah that his family were very welcoming to Meghan, “my father, my brother, Kate they were all very welcoming, better than I expected”. We know he got an earful after filming) They told so many blatant lies and purposely gave answers without context so haters of the Royal Family would create false narratives. What was more sad is that Queen Elizabeth II had to deal with this unnecessary and unfair fallout while her beloved husband for 73 years was dying and then died. I will never forget the nasty hashtags and content the Sussex Squad posted after this; disgusting. Most of the British public supported Harry and Meghan leaving if it was what Harry wanted and made him happy, but after that disastrous interview, the public mood soon shifted to shock and anger. A lot of people were done with the two privileged, selfish brats. Let’s be clear: Meghan didn’t have mental health issues, she couldn’t take the lack of control, she couldn’t sue every newspaper that printed nonsense but had some truth to it, wanted to merch her connection to the RF and she couldn’t handle the high level of scrutiny or deliver the standard of responsibility that was expected from her. Doria her mother was an alleged social worker but didn’t help her 🤨, and Harry had his therapist on speed dial but didn’t help her 🤨 he even said to Oprah that he didn’t tell his family because he felt ashamed. So if the family wasn’t informed, then they can’t be blamed for anything; plus she had plenty of access to help if she needed or wanted it. Her fabricated story has so many holes. The worst part of that interview is how she lied about the colour of Archie’s skin, the question that didn’t happen the way her manipulative mind painted it out to be and the Duo told a complete different story when interviewed separately that lie-Oprah didn’t pushback on. If Harry had cared for his Grandparents, he would have never done that lying interview. What was heartbreaking is that #PrincePhillip went to his grave thinking the world believed Meghan and Harry’s lies and didn’t get to the part where most of the world realised that Recollections May Vary. When Prince Phillip died, I knew Meghan Markle was a narcissist. Harry was displaying tendencies as only a narcissistic person would continue attacking a family at this low point and have this level of lack of empathy or self awareness. They created an unnecessary media storm and then played the victim when they could have just gone and lived the private life they claimed they wanted with their millions of pounds in the bank. Queen Elizabeth II had a broken heart, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, The Duchess of Sussex didn’t care. They continued to brief the media with lies, disinformation and grift off the titles the late Queen had gifted them. I will never forget the lead-up to the late Duke of Edinburgh’s death and what followed; words can’t comprehend the level of narcissism, disrespect and disgusting behaviour displayed by two ungrateful, spoilt and cruel cosplaying humanitarians. Rest in peace, Prince Phillip (World War II veteran) and thank you for your 70+ years of service to our country

Archewell Foundation: A Celebrity PR Machine Masquerading as Philanthropy ⚠‼ The Archewell Foundation’s so-called mission to create “positive change around the world” is a masterclass in vagueness, empty promises, and headline-grabbing PR moves that amount to little more than a glorified vanity project for Meghan Markle and Harry. They exploit marginalized communities-veterans, youth, the elderly-not to truly empower them, but to further their own personal brand and gain social and political capital.'''''

Thank goodness there is, bc I would never sit thru this bs otherwise. During their part with Jane, Harry is trying to get as far away from his cold grasping wife as possible. Neither Mememe nor Harry are covering their revulsion very well. The abbreviated interview clearly showed Harry physically recoil from mememe when she turned & looked at him & started to talk. Her expression was venomous for a long enough moment that was not missable. When that grieving mother was speaking, expressing her pain, her shock - mememe sits there like a stone - hard, cold, unfeeling. I could see no sign of empathy or even a bit of compassion for a fellow mom who is experiencing the absolute worst nightmare a parent can experience. Mememe has nothing to give. I hope CBS cuts these 2 OUT and runs the parts that focus on the parents & what they are building. Research more into that parent network thing - I have read it is primarily a data grab & by entering their information & stories, those then become the property of Archewell. These 2 need to be kept away from the public. They really are not nice, at least together. Looking at the "products" they have produced & all the failures & all the vitriol towards their respective families, they just need to stay out sight & be silent. I agree with the comments saying that Harry and Megan’s continuous, foul and, by the way, to this day unsubstantiated and unproven, personal attacks on the royal family have done far more to create sympathy and respect for the royals than for them.

James Holt, Catherine St. Laurent, Richard Genow, and Andrew Meyer-none lasted long, with most leaving after short stints working what amounts to one-hour work weeks on paper. Their recent trip to Colombia to 'empower' youth with the “transformative power of arts and dance” is another perfect example of their smoke-and-mirrors philanthropy. Buzzwords like ‘amplification’ and ‘equitable impact’ are great for press releases, but where are the concrete results? If that doesn’t scream red flags, what does? According to CharityWatch’s CEO, Laurie Styron, it’s not uncommon for “celebrity passion projects” like Archewell to rely on a handful of wealthy donors to keep afloat. But even with that crutch, Archewell is struggling to stay relevant in the charity world. The charity’s reluctance to provide financial transparency only adds fuel to the fire. Requests for audited financial statements? Ignored. Responses to inquiries about their finances? Non-existent. Eric Schiffer, chair of Reputation Management Consultants, told Newsweek the saga would be damaging to Meghan despite the counter narrative. "Meghan's challenges are immense because this now is a pattern of behavior outside of Britain that calls into question a level of horrible incompetence in leadership," he said. "She is now seen as the enemy of staffers who are fleeing because of the devastating environment. None of which is good for Meghan when she is still recovering from the reputational damage from across the pond. "These are current allegations. What it says is that she's either painfully deluded about her own behavior or there's a series of people who are choosing to lie to reporters which doesn't seem to ring as true. "This scandalabra she's facing is not just a smoking crater on her reputation but now begins to draw into question her judgement and her ability to control herself and her behavior."
@ocdman2022 ай бұрын
The Hollywood Reporter's editor told Access Hollywood that the magazine had spoken to 12 employees, and that one of them was a current senior staffer. The source blamed Meghan's behavior for a high turnover, or "churn," rate at Archewell and the article referenced a number of employees by name. Some of those contributed quotes to the Us Weekly fight back story, though the most significant contributions came from the couple's current press secretary, Ashley Hansen, and former Archewell president Mandana Dayani. "The Hollywood Reporter has great credibility and authority in reporting accurately the inner workings and behind the scenes truth of many of the most prominent people within entertainment," Schiffer said. "And their reporting is relied upon and looked to as a credible source of reliable information both by leaders within the industry, but also other respected media organizations. "Meghan's pushback is text book crisis management where she will leverage staffers that may have a different perspective or loyalty to her. "That will allow her to reshape the narrative somewhat versus just one side where there's no pushback. "Either way, having a second set of allegations outside of Britain where there's now a pattern is like the plague for her where she's trying to show none of the original allegations were true. "Patterns begin to then create questions that go to character and that is dangerous at a time when she is trying to ensure her personal brand-and together as a couple-is one that could be looked at in an elevated fashion."

I agree with the comments saying that Harry and Megan’s continuous, foul and, by the way, to this day unsubstantiated and unproven, personal attacks on the royal family have done far more to create sympathy and respect for the royals than for them.

“Royal observers say there is a new strategy to remind people of the Prince ‘they loved.’” “On Monday night, Prince Harry bounded into the WellChild Awards in London with a smile and set about making a fuss of the children who had gathered to meet him. Picking up soft toys that had been thrown on the floor, calling the young winners “little legends” and crouching down among animal balloons, he seemed at home among the staff and beneficiaries of the charity he has supported as patron for 16 years. He looked “very jolly”, one observer said, and a line of his speech in which he told parents of seriously ill children, “You’ve got this. And we’ve got you” earned the shouted response “we’ve got you too” from one member of the audience. Unusually, though, the event was the seventh solo engagement the Duke of Sussex had undertaken in seven days. The Duchess and their children did not travel to London, or to New York where the Prince gave five high profile speeches last week and appeared on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show. Nor was the Duchess accompanying Harry when he arrived in Lesotho on Tuesday for what became his eighth solo appearance in as many days. Particularly given the couple’s previous joint trips to Nigeria and Colombia in recent months, the Duke’s solo appearances have raised, perhaps inevitably, the question: Where’s Meghan? For a couple who have described themselves as “salt and pepper” because they “always move together”, and bought their Montecito house because two “connected” palm trees were reminiscent of their relationship, their professional separation is new. ““There has been a separation [of their work] for a while,” notes PR strategist Mark Borkowski, who has followed coverage of the Sussexes closely. “It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to think there’s something going on. She has been doing the jam thing, the Martha Stewart play. He seems to be going back to basics.” The “star power” they were expected to have together when they first left Britain, he says, “didn’t work” as hoped. “They had to change the narrative. They need a venture that deflects from the failures. The charity aspect impresses upon everybody that he [Harry] does have value beyond the controversial stuff. It has the effect of separating them from the bad press and the failed content ideas. “The punters still have time for Harry.” Reports that Prince Harry is seeking a form of return to Britain have been emphatically denied by sources close to the Sussexes, who have pointed out how happy he is now with “amazing” new friends and projects on the horizon. He has “no interest” in returning to royal duties, they say.”

@@ocdman202 I will never forget that when Prince Phillip was in hospital, Meghan and Harry continued with their disingenuous and lack of empathy Oprah interview. Rest in peace, Prince Phillip (World War II veteran) and thank you for your 70+ years of service to our country..

Archewell should be closed down. It's not a charity, - it's a vessel for these spendthrifts to beg money from their wealthy friends and then channel it through a charity to avoid tax, - and their mates then get tax relief for the "charitable donation". It´s a scam, - why else would they set it up in Delaware where 95% of all donations can be used for expenses. How the mighty have fallen. These two really have no shame!

Archewell Foundation: A Celebrity PR Machine Masquerading as Philanthropy ⚠‼ The Archewell Foundation’s so-called mission to create “positive change around the world” is a masterclass in vagueness, empty promises, and headline-grabbing PR moves that amount to little more than a glorified vanity project for Meghan Markle and Harry. When you peel back the buzzwords and jargon, it becomes glaringly obvious: Archewell is more about elevating their brand than helping the vulnerable. Let’s begin with the staff-if you can even keep track of them. The Archewell Foundation has become notorious for its revolving door of executives and key employees. James Holt, Catherine St. Laurent, Richard Genow, and Andrew Meyer-none lasted long, with most leaving after short stints working what amounts to one-hour work weeks on paper. With high-profile names constantly jumping ship, the question arises: why can’t they retain top talent? The constant exodus speaks volumes about the chaotic mismanagement within the organization. And let’s not forget their notorious “pledge” debacle. Much like Amber Heard’s infamous courtroom moment where she conflated a ‘pledge’ with an actual donation, Harry and Meghan seem to have adopted the same creative accounting. They throw around promises of grand initiatives and charitable contributions, but the follow-through? Practically non-existent. Announcing lofty donations and then conveniently failing to provide any real evidence of these funds reaching those in need has become their modus operandi. Where’s the accountability? Their recent trip to Colombia to 'empower' youth with the “transformative power of arts and dance” is another perfect example of their smoke-and-mirrors philanthropy. Buzzwords like ‘amplification’ and ‘equitable impact’ are great for press releases, but where are the concrete results? Handing out a few drums and calling it a day is hardly the world-changing impact they claim to have. No measurable outcomes, no real commitment-just another PR stunt to make headlines and keep their brand relevant. The Archewell Foundation’s financials paint a similarly damning picture. In 2021, they managed to rake in an impressive $13 million. By 2022, however, that figure nosedived to a paltry $2 million-a staggering $11 million drop in donations. If that doesn’t scream red flags, what does? According to CharityWatch’s CEO, Laurie Styron, it’s not uncommon for “celebrity passion projects” like Archewell to rely on a handful of wealthy donors to keep afloat. But even with that crutch, Archewell is struggling to stay relevant in the charity world. The charity’s reluctance to provide financial transparency only adds fuel to the fire. Requests for audited financial statements? Ignored. Responses to inquiries about their finances? Non-existent. They claim to have a whistleblower policy, conflict of interest guidelines, and other corporate-sounding jargon-but how can anyone trust a foundation whose entire governance board consists of just Harry and Meghan, two individuals clearly more concerned with their public image than with making a real difference? But perhaps most disturbing is their alignment with global political movements pushing censorship and controlling narratives under the guise of "tech responsibility." Archewell’s donations and grants align suspiciously with these movements, using causes like ‘climate change’ and ‘online harm prevention’ to stifle free speech and push their own political agendas. They exploit marginalized communities-veterans, youth, the elderly-not to truly empower them, but to further their own personal brand and gain social and political capital.;;;
