Yes, I can relate. I became a huge fan of hers when I was 11. I had to go on a field trip, and I had no friends to talk to at all. I had my Walkman though, and I played Dolly as much as I could to calm my nerves and give me peace. She helped me so much through that and other times of my life. ❤

And it's so nice that after 12 years we are still friends Having spent 30 minutes with her I got to see her up close in a mini concert opening her park Dollywood! So glad to have met Dolly at BMI in Nashville back in 1998. She is in person exactly as you see her here, beautiful inside and out. She walks into the room and everything in it lights up. Dolly is just a Tennessee girl, raised with love, care, and to love the Lord. She has a lot of love for all. I didn't grow up in Sevier County, but my family was from there. Hey there Fil! This was absolutely awesome!! I hadn't ever seen this performance before, & I actually watched it twice!! I immediately noticed that she RARELY glanced at the piano! And although obviously very different, I thought of how Elton also engages the audience. Her facial expression made it feel like she was having a "conversation" with a girlfriend about this guy! I hope that my request for you to check out Il Divo performing Nights in White Satin live is working its way up the list!
