You're almost to the end of the quilt when you realize that you've got more quilt top than backing. What to do now? Don't panic! In this video, I will show you the easiest way to add backing, right on the frame, without having to take the quilt off to do so. This video is a portion of my KZbin Live Demo that streamed on October 22nd 2021. In that video, I also demonstrate how to add batting if you fall short (right on the frame).
Here's the link to that video if you'd like to see it:

Happy Quilting! May all your backings be big enough. ;)

I love how you measured with your hand. I've done that for years and my Dad always laughed at me about it. 😆

Thank you so much Kathy! January has seen more restrictions here in Ontario and I spent some time, while I wasn't allowed customers in the shop, purging and cleaning up. Now that restrictions are lifted, I wish I'd of spent that time quilting and making videos. lol.

Ty sewww much! I did this on my Gammill. I couldn't reach it from the front, so I rolled the Quilt backwards until I could reach to pin it from the back of the machine. I could have never done this without your video!

Thanks for this great tutorial! I've had to do this one time! But used my sewing machine and an ironing board set up high! A friend stood on the back side sliding the ironing board along as I sewed on the extra backing! It was quite the process! This is much better idea!!
