I agree mate it's almost taboo to talk about for some reason but there's no need in my opinion, obviously I can't be too specific as every jobs different but if my prices give people an idea of what others should start at price wise then we all win. Makes it even competition instead of competing with people charging next to nothing. Hah yes it's heavy mate but you'll rarely have it fully extended pluss itll be resting on the tiles anyway as you're scraping so don't worry :D im 10st and can manage a few days graft with it before I want to curl up and die :D Cheers buddy

Hello, been watching a lot your helpfull videos... Question regarding your setup... What is your "liter per minute" machine? Ive got 15l/min and i have been wondering is 200l container be enough to keep water flowing even in low pressure home water (1,5 bar)? I have 1000l on my trailer, but i would like to conserve space and buy one that i can carry around on the job... Is 200l doable?

Hi friend when your getting a pressure washer concentrate more on a good pump as that what does the work like AR or inter pump I have a AR belt driven pump 15 lpm @ 150 bar with a return to tank water hose keeps the pump nice and cool great pump I went for briggs and stratton cf 6.5 engine there 200 pounds cheaper than a honda engine lincoln is also a great engine it also cheaper than a honda it has 100 feet of hose on hose reel it has an easy start pressure valve this is something I highly highly recommend makes it so easy to pull and start the frame is made from stainless steel the pump is belt driven 15 lpm @ 150 bar the pump runs 1450 rpm not 3000 rpm same pressure only the pump running at half the speed belt driven Or gearbox same price I think the belt driven is the ways to go I got mine from jet mac there in Belfast terry is the man in charge he delivery all over the UK my wssher i cost 1000 pounds . He can build any washer you want. The 21lpm with 13hp I had one great machine but it 500 pounds more and it loves gas ⛽ if you were pressure washing large large drives 7 days a week then 21 LPM is a bit better I can honestly tell you that there's not a big difference as I have both of them the 15 lpm washer will run any surface cleaner hands down . Hope this bit of info helps god bless and keep safe

I have a reduction gearbox petrol pressure washer a honda GX 390 with a reduction gearbox and Comet pump I have had the pressure washer for 4 years and apart from a oil change and spark plug change I have had no problems with the pressure washer, from my experience i would not buy a belt drive petrol pressure washer as you need to use a tension plate underneath the pressure washer pump Jetmac are using metal brackets which are attached to the pressure washer pump and bolted to the frame of the pressure washer and the metal brackets will eventually snap this comment will probably get deleted this is the last I will say on this, it is explained more in the link below kzbin.info/www/bejne/haSxf6aImpaKmpI

Re: Turbo Nozzle vs FSC - IF your pressure washer is up to the task, with regards to both lpm AND psi, then the Falsch Pointspeed 5 will blow any FSC out of the water, (excuse the pun), with both coverage per minute and lichen removal. Sid, if you're lookng at seriously upgrading your pressure washing side of the business, look into these units. Flasch won't sell them to you unless you meet their criteria. German superiority :)

I’m interested to know about safety working at height. 1) what do you do if the ground is uneven on a roof cleaning job and can’t safely place the ladder? 2) You mentioned in one of your previous videos that you might be getting a scaffold tower. How do you plan on transporting that? Wondering what van you’re using and if you would need a trailer for the tower if you get one. Thanks.
@PartridgeExteriorCleaning3 жыл бұрын
Hi mate will have a video up in a week ish about this but I’ll answer what I can here, As far as ladders being uneven, the tools I use are generally versatile enough to reach from pretty extreme angles so for difficult spots to get to I’ve always just about managed so far. And I’ll be hiring the towers straight to be delivered to the job and then picked up once I’m finished, I don’t have the means to transport them at the moment so it’s expensive in the short term, about £90 per job. But hopefully soon I’ll upgrade to a big enough van. If not a trailer is completely fine to use, most people use them but I work from a car with no tow bar currently!
@Mowgliy2k3 жыл бұрын
@@PartridgeExteriorCleaning appreciate the quick reply. It’s pretty hilly where I work so a lot of sloped driveways and gardens to contend with. I use a gutter vac for clearance so never a problem, but thinking of branching in to roof cleaning/treatments so not all too sure how I’ll manage with just a ladder!
@PartridgeExteriorCleaning3 жыл бұрын
Yeah I’d always recommend anyone to use a tower, it’s not the best example I’m setting with the ladder work, although it’s not against HSE it’s just making life riskier than it needs to be!
