Matias Coitiño It depends on your budget, and your business. Anything with a Honda engine is going to be reliable. There are mostly two types of machines to look out for 15litres per minute, and 21litres per minute. 21 will drive bigger and better flat surface cleaners, ultimately helping you clean faster and better. So it depends how much work you plan to do I suppose. Hope that helps.😃👍🏼

If a Power Washer is hooked up to a water tank in a truck or trailer, do you have to "Feed the water into the pressure washer" with a electric water pump? or will the pressure washer just suck the water out as needed? Thanks

Yes, it should do in theory, but I’ve never tried it myself. You would need a very large water tank indeed to give you enough water for most jobs, unless you can feed the tank with water whilst working.

Sodium Hypochlorite is great for removing any organic growth, which is what normally causes paving to look dirty. Dilute it in a watering can at about 1:4 ratio. You will need a buffer tank for the pressure washer, and it will need to be fed from the customers tap. A lot of guys use a wheelie bin for this which can easily fit in a small van.👍🏼

It’s incase the tap doesn’t provide enough flow for the machine to run properly, so it draws the water it needs from the buffer tank.

I find the best solution for getting those black lycan spots off is brick acid. Plus it kills the weeds. That self hardening pointing sand you mention is very expensive. About £15 each tub and inside are 2 small sealed bags. Says you just have to brush it in and if need be ironed in with pointing trowel. Very quick and convenient with less mess. It is also Supposedly crack resistant and porous so rain doesn't stand. All nonsense of course. Apart from the price. 2 years later and I'm back digging it all out and repointing with sharp sand and cement. Nightmare. One tip if you're repointing a large area. Knock up enough dry mix and as doing it in batches as near impossible to keep the colour consistant. Great vid by the way.

@aemackintosh
@aemackintosh 5 жыл бұрын
slim439 I’ve just never bothered to get one. I keep the tape tucked away in the van and it’s fine for most of the stuff I quote. If I was data lot of large car parks then a measuring wheel would definitely be a good idea.😃👍🏼
