I had PSR SX 700 (sold) and now I have Genos2. I need to extract from LATIN Expansion of sx 700 some styles (ad es. popflamtangos.sty , styles not present in latin expansion for genos2). The file downloaded has extension .cpf and not .ppi .ppf, How can I resolve?

Hi Giuseppe, You cannot extract Style from cpf Packs. But if you do that, not all instruments would play because they are tied to the samples from the Pack. Look at the various Packs that are intended for Genos and there you will find all the Styles. In Packs Best of Europe you have a lot of rhythms from Latin, including the popflamtangos you mention. Unfortunately, it cannot be singled out as UVN or UVD. There are some methods for extracting the Wav format but it’s not the same thing.

vce is a voice that can be made from PPF in the keyboard. Separating the VCE from the Package makes no sense because that sound cannot be heard without its Wav base. Yep is a completely different story and it cannot be entered into YEM.

Everything is fine with the program, it can only extract Styles from PPF or PPI Package. It cannot extract from CPF. If you want Style from CPF Pack, you need to install Pack in the keyboard first. Doktore aj jedno pitanje. Kad u AWAVE otvorim multisempl, bilo koji i prebacim u uvn format ne dobijem zvuk ni 10% od onoga sto treba. Msm moze posle da se doda u YEM hall, portamento i sve ostalo al opet nije to to... a kad redjam WAV po WAV u YEM sve se cuje rastimovamo. Kako se redjaju elementi kad je WAV u pitanju? Da se od vise njih (kad je semplova svaki ton pa je jedan dirka jedan sempl) a da to bude posle jedan instrument (voice) i da bude lako treba?

Sve ovisi kakav multisample ubacuješ u Awave. Ako je on prije svirao na Korgu, i ti si ga čuo sa podešenim Korgovim efektima, naravno da ne može isto zvučati i na Yamahi jer ona ima drugačije karateristike. Isto bi se dogodilo da radiš suprotnu konverziju, iz Yamahe u Korga. Slaganje samplova u YEM? Ubacuješ jedan po jedan WAW uzorak i ako su oni ispravni, multisample bi trebao svirati kako treba. Mogu samo predpostaviti zašto ti se to događa ali razloga za to ima toliko da mi se neda pisati gdje bi mogla biti greška. Predlažem ti da multisample prvo izradiš u Awave, u njemu posloži Wav u cjelinu, i tek onda ga obrađuj u YEM. Osnovni razlog za ovakav pristup je to što YEM nema funkcije loop, pa tako recimo, ton harmonike ili stringsa ne možeš napraviti kako treba. Drugi razlog je što Awave ima mogućnost za automtizirane radnje pa će slaganje tonova ići mnogo brže.

@@CasperVideo na primer neki dobar sempl koji se koristi za kontakt boje ili nema veze imam za Yamaha Motif dobre semplove.. i kad se otvori u AWAVE svuda je samo C4...pa ne znam da li trba da mozda svako ton odradim kako treba, npr C1, Cis 1, D1.... C2, Cis 2....pa tako posle (a i taj deo nisam siguran da znam) da ubacim u YEM. Ovo kako sam ja sklopio instrument zvuci skroz rastimovano. Veze nema. A to dal ima hall, reverb... portamento... to nema veze. Ako je dobar sempl lako cu da ga "obojim" u YEMu

Install the CPF Pack in the keyboard. If you have a Genos, connect it via USB Mode kzbin.info/www/bejne/qqqnkKh_mL6gebs and download Style. If you have a PSR, open the Style Creator in the keyboard and save it to a USB stick via Save as.

CPF cannot be converted to PPF. Only the author of the CPF file can make a PPF out of it because it has the original Wave patterns.

Some channels in Style use voices from the Pack and that’s why you can’t hear them after extraction. It should be set to factory voices or from some other installed Pack.

Probaj ppf unijeti u YEM, pogledaj da li uopće ima Stylova u njemu. Ako postoje, možeš ih uzeti ako Pack upišeš u klavijaturu.

Dobar Dan Gospodine Casper! Zelio bih vas pitati, da li ima mogucnosti rewo bubnyeve od genosa staviti na Tyros4? (Ne trebam ja nego jedan poznanik koji mi ne da mira da mu snimim sve rewo glasove u vise layera (velosity). Navodno on ima u PPI formatu sve te glasove, ali ne moze snjima nista raditi, jer ne moze izvaditi iz PPI fajl-a. Ako sam gluposti pisao oprostite mi, nisam strucnjak. @@CasperVideo Hi Casper, See, I have a Yamaha PSR e453 which only has 2 variations but recently I loved a style from the Brazilian expansion pack supported for Yamaha PSR s650. Now I want to first extract the styles from the .YEP pack and then get the .ppi and then convert in into .sty. Although it's a 4 variation style, it can perfectly work in my keyboard with the A and B fill in. I'll try to convert the .ppi to .sty Will keep you updated
