It is the disposable acid after gold recovery which is stored in stockpots. I use it to separate pins from CPU's.

​@@lucilunga1927 he used waste acid to loosen the CPU pins, then once they have sat for two days he strains them from the CPU chips. He washed them and dissolved them in aqua regia.

That's a good question, the answer is no. There is no gold in the fiber board, or the back of the wafer. Only on the pins. Some may have a nickle plated copper heatsink with gold on the inside but very little / as in not worth the effort

Some processor chips had gold plating a little. They were separated from the chips, which were caught in the fabric filter. So, I processed them in an aqua regia solution with pins and fabric.
