With John wick, it’s always him and a dog every movie. For Tyler, it’s saving a kid every movie to the point where he’s known for it and is a professional at doing the one thing he failed at, saving his kid. Even tho it wasn’t his fault, he can live his life saving kids like he wanted to save his son. I think that’s enough. Even tho a swamp of bodies is left behind him just like wick 🤣.

Tyler Rake’s okay, but Nicky’s my favorite character. She’s totally badass, but not a powerhouse. So, her scenes have a bit more vulnerability to them which, I feel, makes her more engaging as a character. @@89ludeawakening1Did we watch the same movie? They are totally trying to be "deeper" and more "character driven". Sisu is the movie that you're talking about that is just trying to be an action movie. For goodness sake, these two movies are mostly about Chris' emotions and motivation with his dead son. And then they try to give personal emotions and themes about family. Sisu on the other hand is just one guy that is in it for gold. That's it. He gets zero character development. Although in Wick 3 and 4 my eyes were glazing over at some of those crazy action scenes.

To be perfectly honest, I felt like the first Extraction movie was more gripping than the sequel. Even the actions scenes. Maybe because it’s difficult to impress people after they’ve seen it all once already, but I felt the 2nd movie tries too hard to top the first one by just using more stuff. More vehicles being blown up, more action set pieces, etc. Without really having the same visceral and up close impact of the action scenes in the 1st movie.

For me I come to this new franchise and the John wick franchise for action. They just need enough story to kick things off and keep it moving from time to time, but the action is the Star. The one thing I will agree with everyone is that Sandros should have been killed in the movie man.. after causing all of that… I didn’t care if it happened to him 😂, hell it probably would get an emotional scene from the mom and daughter. But I have to disagree that the movie needed more story. The movie did what it set out to do and knows it’s audience. It’s a gritty John wick. I didn’t agree with a lot of the points made, but enjoyed the review as always!

the kid needed some manhandling but it is perfeclty normal for him to be confused, he is a teenager he feels like his allegiance belongs to his fathers even if its a shitty one, it is understandible why he took a turn. His father is dead and he hangs out with watever man his mother tells him to, even if he is his fathers murderer.. ACtion wise movie was thrilling, at some point it was straight up video game. I hope they understand its a gimmick that should not be overdone
