Utah did get a new flag last month. So that's cool I guess. I also want to know if my homestate of Colorado used the pan hispanic design that much of Latin America uses.

They did not get a new flag yet. The new flag-will go into effect by March 9, 2024. *UNLESS* Opponents of the new flag announced a campaign to repeal the bill. Should they obtain signatures from 8% of all active voters in Utah (equalling 134,298) before April 12, 2023, the matter will be placed on the ballot for Utah voters to decide. And since Mormons does not usually use the internet and does not know about r/Vexillology, they maybe will get 8% of the votes.

@quantummeme7655 there was a movement but it fell apart really quickly Argentina started the design of blue white blue and other hispanic stated used it too, including the Central American Federation which fell apart into a bunch of states like Nicaragua and El Salvador who uses the flag as well as Uruguay and Colorado. Even after the movement died out everyone just kept the flags
