Corrections: 3:50 Vanuatu used to do this, but since the European Council caught on, they tried to talk to Vanuatu about the issue since 12 May 2022, which didn't amount to much. Visa-free travel for Vanuatu's passports through the EU was suspended on 4 February this year!

And even then, it's only the Schengen Area, according to a Google Search, Vanuatuan Citizens can still travel to the Republic of Ireland Visa Free (the Republic of Ireland is in the EU), there are also many other countries that sell passports (aka Citizenship by Investment) with Austria (an EU member) being one of them

Its quite dramatic for Nauru, a country that just 50 years ago had one of the highest GDP per capita on Earth (as well that the richest population), to nowadays having to rely on diplomatic prostitution. But, as Ned Kelly said, Such is life Edit: oh yeah i forgot to mention that they also had to rely on refugee asylums for some cash. But again, life can be a cruel mistress

@@VerdeMorte That is true, but is influencing these micronations to support Taiwan really going to make that much of a difference in China’s grand strategy? So when these developing nations borrow loans from Economic block , which doesn't require these countries to changes the structures of their social and economic systems to Free Market Capitalism privatize all national assets and immediately implementation of austerity policy, heavy cut back to social spending on healthcare, education's services along with dramatically reduces worker wages. When they do that, they are prostitute? But when they are forces to borrow heavy sum of money from the economic zone that actually requires them to privatized their everything, heavy cut back on social spending, and dramatically reducing worker rights and wages and a heavy paid back interests like these Pacific nations had been forces into doing for nearly 80 years since the 1950s now. They are not prostituting themselves?
