I've never seen a 147 with so many recovery shots, what a legend.

Mark's temperament and Ronnie's skill would be the ultimate player
@JuventinosАй бұрын
he has always had the skill. Mark + Hendry's drive i think is a batter combo.

One of the best 147 I have seen. There were several difficult shots that he converted
@danielogrady65622 жыл бұрын
my favourite snooker player of all time. such a precise cue action and he's always clever around the black, add the underarm shots and just barely rolling balls in dead weight and he's just a pleasure to watch
@claudfraser44452 жыл бұрын
@Daniel O'Grady, I couldn't agree more mate! not to mention he's so full of humor and time to crack a joke even when at big tournament's and they say Snooker doesn't have no characters anymore. I took to Mark the first time I saw him play in the 1998 B&H Masters and boy what a match that was on a reposted black against the great Stephen Hendry, I cant stand people who chew nails but I nearly took up the habbit during that match Jeeeeze there was some drama!!!!
@castleanthrax18332 жыл бұрын
Totally agree with both of you. I really appreciate his sense of humour, not to mention his skill around the table. Imagine what snooker would be like, if Williams, O'Sullivan and John Higgins weren't around, and the three of them burst onto the scene in the same year.

I believe he was taught by Obewan kenobi. The giveaway is that sometimes he even closes his eyes on the shot. He's obviously using the force.

Can't believe I've never seen this 147. The difficult top cushion red and blacks made this one of the best imo.

Ronnie had one 147 pretty tough too
@SuperChalkster2 жыл бұрын
depends how you view it, it was difficult pots because of poor position, normally the best 147s rated by viewers are the faultless ones.

I wonder if commentators have an agreed total they are not allowed to mention 147 before. I think it should be at least 80.

Williams is great to watch, he's not the best positional player, but he's such a great potter that its fascinating to watch.
@shanemccarthy72822 жыл бұрын
I like his composure throughout the frame he didn't over think didn't panic when he got out of line or had a tough shot just focused and handled each problem positively

@raymondbatchelor13722 жыл бұрын
I think Williams started the same time as Ronnie and Higgins. 3 masters about 30 years and still at the top of thier game.
Take no notice guys of the loon on the fake Wayne account, he's a noob who can't play snooker, in fact he can't even play pool! I've made 147 breaks and won tournaments, list, 1, Stephen Hendry, then it's probably Mark Selby who has 8 years on Ronnie O'Sullivan and a winning record over him, then it's probably fraud Ronnie O'Sullivan in 3rd place, Mark Williams is well down the list! Noobs shouldn't be allowed anywhere near social media

Congratulations to Mark a well deserved 147. But he certainly went the hardway about getting it. And to all the people saying that "he's the greatest player in the game" and all the other stuff people saying. Seriously people WAKE UP, as he is nowhere near the best player in the game, not even close.
@thedevilsreject232 жыл бұрын
Well as a three time world champion and with the amount of tournament wins when there were fewer tournaments and at a time of hendry, O’Sullivan, Higgins etc he is definitely up there in the top 5/6 in the world - no he’s not the greatest of all time that would be O’Sullivan for sure but credit where credits due would seem respectful
@PhilipKerry2 жыл бұрын
