It’s being fixed presently. The new generation Rangie & Rangie Sport have only been stolen via taking it from the driver or stealing the keys via breaking and entering the home. JLR has a liaising unit with UK insurance companies to show the ‘unhackability’ of the new generation cars and the free security updates to older cars (that not enough people are taking up yet.)

@@rikkiseddo Highly doubt its "unhackable". Maybe these new ones are more secure but the demand is high for stolen RRs. Range Rovers are one of the most stolen vehicles in Ontario, Canada which is why James mentions that multiple times. Thieves can still use signal relay attacks, physically steal the key, or use a canbus injection attack.

For a matt effect, go for a matt protection film, costs about $3000, not only it would look exactly the same, it also protects the paint. This factory matt paint? You can't even move it through automated carwash and there's no way to fix any scratches.

I have to say, as a person who simply doesn't like SUVs, that this is perfectly gorgeous. I love the simple, smooth surfaces that don't look bulky. I love how it avoids the hack n' slash in-vogue styling, the whole thing being perfectly tailored. The smooth curve of surface around the nose is particularly wonderful. It doesn't look flashy, yet it looks modern. It is a masterful example of substance over trendy style. As the Throttle House guys went on (entertainingly so), I just couldn't stop thinking of how this looks truly like a luxury vehicle in the way that no creased-and-folded Lexus can. I hate SUVs, yet this is a gorgeous, perfect luxury SUV to look at, and I love it for that. Now, Land Rover, please re-instate the proper physical controls. Screens impress zoomers but suck. Oh, and please rise above the rock bottom of the build quality rankings. My Kia and I now sadly step off the soap box and return to real life....

I've watched you guys I think since the beginning and I'm glad you guys have done so well for yourselves. I think by not being the cookie cutter type of reviewers, but by just being yourselves has made the majority of us connect with you. I just am concerned that almost every vehicle you review(the vast majority) is priced for people who love to give up the majority of their paychecks just to drive. The prices have gotten so out of control that it's no longer even funny. As a 30+ year car guy, it's easy to review and talk about something with $100k+ MSRP. Grab a base vehicle, manual trans and no options and review that. Are cars tech devices or driving machines? The manufactures want you to think of them as tech, so they can keep adding options for people who like to give away their wealth.
