I am a designer at a tile shop. And we are a Schluter distributor. And boy do I love seeing all that orange waterproofing and heating. Ok so finished the video and points: -i love that we got to meet your contractor and have him present parts of the video - meeting the "artist" behind the work is awesome -i love this series bc you make me want to be brave enough to have big plans in my future and think big for my family in general, and not get lost in the day to day and settle -i LOVE LOVE LOVE that you can clean ALL the spaces under and around that tub- it's such a nasty space in most bathrooms and this is SO much more hygienic I'm obsessed

I loved that mirror symphony smashing scene, and as soon as you said you were removing all the drywall to install something “special” I instantly said: “she’s doing shiplap!” I love the way the bathroom has turned out, it is beautiful and timeless. I also adore those little pleated lamp shades on the sconces above the vanity.

Love this, I want a similar style bathroom, I just bought a 1890’s home and this style is my dream, to match a more similar time period than the linoleum and insert tub we currently are left with. It’ll be a long time from now, we spent all our money on making the home safe, but someday this is the dream.

Yes, most interior wall are brick or stone, unless it is a stud wall that has been added since. In these cases we can’t move walls around as they are foundational :(

Beautiful bathroom! I have made a similar mistake in making my own window treatments. You could cut off the bottom of the shade and add a nice thick contrasting trim in another color from the room to make up the extra length! It will look just like you meant to do that way all along lol
