At first, being German, I found her enthusiasm a bit too much, but having seen ALL of her videos, I'm now completely okay with pulling faces of delight over a brass knob. She's got great taste and completely transforms every room she lays her hands on. Plus, her happiness makes me happy. She's a happy maker and a happymaker, all in one. What's not to love? I love.

Their enthusiasm is wonderful! 🏠 On another note, I watched a video on Farmhouse Living channel of a new build in Texas entitled the Timeless Home Tour. The owners/designers used many thrifted furnishings and decor for their new home. Check out the moody paint color in her library/office and her pantry that was color marched to her gorgeous range in the kitchen. The pantry!! Their kitchen is light but looks a bit like your home. Her chain gallery wall was stunning and looked like something you may like. The placement of a rug under her clawfoot tub was cool. Her laundry room/wardrobe area was stunning. Her attention to detail made me think of you. ♥

The perfectionist in me is QUAKING at the idea of remaking a space for a loved one/friend/colleague because I know the staked feel higher when you make something for someone you know personally. What I love about this room is the wall treatment could work in so many styles. I love the boards she added to the walls and will definitely repurposing that idea. I actually used to own that headboard/bedframe MaCenna swapped in, but in dark grey. It's a nice, sturdy frame, albeit kinda heavy. Mine and my former roommate's cats demolished the top of the headboard, so I don't own it anymore but I do recommend it to folks. It's also great to lean against if you read in bed at night lol
