After watching this whole build, I'm truly surprised by the amount of work and effort you put into this. I thought by the first video you were just going to slap a few 12's into it and call it a day. But I guess I underestimated Steve, this was an amazing build series. I'd love more like this!

Yo Steve, my man...great job well done bro! Yes this project was painstaking & grueling, but the gratitude & the look on Rob's face was priceless, sort of like a kid in a candy store, especially on the first bass drop & then some, he was blown away in awe & goose bumps, no more bucket of bass, it's now you hear me coming up the block, turning on the Block! with that bass in yo face.... I hope Rob gets a top of the line security system installed with all the bells and whistles to protect that investment, once again Mr Meade, you the man... now I got to go to work on my 92 Silverado 💯😎✌️

Great video, very nice to show how just a little bit of high-quality American made butyl will achieve results the other brands only hope to achieve with multiple layers. Sweet fix on that window rattle with the butyl rope!!! Keep up the sweet builds Steve. Not all sound deadeners are the same. More expensive products are produced in sheets instead of rolls and utilize 100% butyl rubber that is backed by a high quality annealed aluminum foil. Some lesser quality products are also made to look and feel just like these sheets. If you were to compare the lower quality sound deadeners with the high-quality products you would see a huge performance difference. Using a smaller amount of a high-quality material will produce better results for less money and weight. Second Skin products are specifically designed for sound insulation. Re-branded rolled roofing products are frequently sold as sound insulation. However, they are typically made overseas from inexpensive alternatives to butyl rubber such as asphalt, tar, or bitumen with very thin foil or Mylar. Although less expensive, they are much lower quality, will not perform well, and may out-gas harmful vapors and/or melt and fall off. #SecondSkinForTheWin
@meade9166 жыл бұрын
it wasn't just damp rope it was some damp pro on the roof! In the back where the window meets the top was resonating super bad. I was able to get a few squares up in there without pulling it down and man what a difference it made!! Great products as always! And that rope has a million +1 uses haha!
@SecondSkinAudio6 жыл бұрын
Oh for sure...I heard the previous video....huge improvement. Love seeing/hearing when small amounts achieve desired results...so many builds use 100% coverage, but truly Second Skin is can achieve huge results with much smaller coverage amounts. Your vids showing off great uses as usual. Loved the Metallica at 16:20!!! #SMDFTW
