Prepping the 6.0l for install, Installed the $165 re grind cam, $80 used springs and $20 used china 7.450 pushrods. Plug wires are 96-98 vortec 5.7L $27 from the local parts store $15 for oil and filter and I spent $20 for the -3 line and all the fittings, 3/4" heater hose and clamps for the feed and return.

Dont use heater hose with oil if any pressure is involved. The pan has pressure so it will leak. Buy some hydraulic hose which is oil proof

Bet that Turbo makes one hell of a good hand dryer. !!! And you installed the turbo for. ???? A noise maker ??? Yep sound effects adds at least. 100 hp. & 75 mph. Great video. The kids got to huff paint for the first time, way ta go... Hope it all came together in the end...

You should of incorporated a flex pipe. When its 100% rigged like you have the exhaust the exhaust develops cracks. Ask how I know. If you got to the turbo forums they have great builds with allot of smart guys their. Good luck

Ive heard that you should never run an engine with the pressure side of the turbo open. The rpm the turbo will spin at with no load can get super high and cause some damage....Ive seen no damaged caused by this in person but it was food for thought either way

I like your affordable state of thinking. Maybe you could help me, I have a procharger centri supercharger I want to install on my car but I do not want to pay 1k for a bracket. The obvious answer to me is build it yourself. In your experience would this be hard to do?

Is the engine completely stock ? Is that a 76mm turbo? Decapped injectors ? Everyone keeps hollering gap your rings , hell no one else is and handling 10 to 14 psi with not even touching bottom end !

Hey buddy ....There's being dollar smart and NOT throwing good money away on crap that's really not necessary then there's just plain NOT prudent .. As car builder's gain experience and we learn that buying cheap almost ALWAYS ends up costing us way more .. and having to redo over and over thing's we already did is NOT cheap because your time is money ...But we live and learn ..
