I'm excited for the spring cleaning challenge! I definitely need it. Windows/ windowsills, wiping down walls, baseboards are things off the top of my head that I know need done. I usually do a maintenance clean in the evening or right after work if I get off early. We have 3 dogs so I have to do a quick vacum almost daily. My husband is a firefighter and works 24hr shifts, so the evenings he isn't home I tend to get more done.Then my day off is Wednesday, so I try to do my sweeping/ mopping/ laundry on that day. Our youngest son is in sports so our weekends are almost always busy!

Just finished my dishes while watching - thanks for the great motivation to get the kitchen in order! I also love to see your grocery hauls because we have different grocery stores but we buy a lot of the same things. I clean the kitchen every night, but all my other cleaning gets done during the day. I get up at 4:45 so I can have some quiet prayer time and some strong hot coffee before my 7 kids get up -- I NEED that coffee, lol! I work from home and don't have any kids, I like taking short breaks during the work day to do some of the day to day cleaning tasks. It's a nice mental break, but still keeps my productivity going. I'll just set a 10-15 min timer here and there and do a small day to day task like loading/unloading the dishwasher, vacuuming the kitchen etc. My boyfriend does about half of the day to day stuff and runs a lot of the errands. Deeper cleaning gets done on weekends

Hey Amy! I've been watching your channel for a while! I have a 10yr old, a 10month old & im due in 2 weeks with another baby! I'm a stay at home mom so my days are very packed with cleaning & taking care of kids. I try not to do stuff at night so that I get sleep. I love watching your videos during the day when I'm cleaning the kitchen or tidying around the house or even just doing laundry!

Daytime cleaning is definitely a necessity when the kids are out if possible. I left corporate America last summer after 10+ years so I could return to college and finish my degree. With my school schedule, three days a week I get home 2-3 hours before the kids get out of school and I use that to either get caught up with regular cleaning/laundry or a little bit of extra study time depending on what the demand is for that present week. Actively trying to clean up the kitchen after meals (for the 5 of us in our family) is a big deal for me and going to bed seeing a clean kitchen absolutely makes my next day so much better. Waking up to a dirty kitchen just sets me in a off mood. Keep the awesome videos coming! I love watching them. :)

Just finished my dishes while I am watching you. I am a partial empty nester. My kids are grown , however I do have a significant other and his teenage son living with me. My 'kids" are down every weekend and I have 2 beautiful Grand kids. My grandson is 7 and my grand daughter is 1 1/2. They are pretty good at picking up there toys, but sometimes they aren't lol. I get my cleaning done during the morning with making my bed as soon as I get up. I get up anywhere between 4 and 6 in the mornings. Sleep is not my friend. I have a lot of nights where I just don't sleep. I have certain days for certain cleaning so I don't get overwhelmed or burned out. I like to change things up. Kitchen is cleaned most nights and then again in the mornings after my coffee. I'm like most of the views, I HAVE TO HAVE my coffee in the morning lol Wanted to say also that I absolutely love your videos and love the motivation it gives me.

LOVE this video! It's so funny that you made this video because you among some other creators have helped me with knowing how to clean up my house easier and help me figure out how I can do it during the week and not always on the weekends, so thank you so much for helping me with that! I am not a morning person or a night owl. I enjoy my sleep and need a lot of it to feel good in the morning. There are times that I stay up late and get up early if there are things going on those days but that's the only reason I do either of those things. I work full time at an office job so I've always had the mind set that I need to clean up after myself as the day goes on so messes don't get out of control. If I make a mess during the day, I always try to clean up after I am done so I don't have to deal with it later on. That doesn't always work but I do my best with it. I do try and vacuum my carpets & floors once a week especially with having a chocolate lab. I do not mop my floors often which I should but I don't get around to it because of so much high traffic in and out of my house. After dinner (my husband is the cook), I will clean up and wipe everything down and then spend time on the couch with my kids. During the week I have been trying to get certain chores of mine done in the morning after I drop my kids off at school and before I have to leave for work so that's been helping me to relax with my kids in the evenings. I also try and get one load of laundry done a day so I can keep up with it throughout the week. Just this week I decided to clean my bathrooms before I emptied the trash in the bathrooms to go out for trash pick up. I cleaned toilets and wiped them down, wiped down counters and sinks, and did the mirrors and then emptied the trash cans and now don't have to worry about doing any major cleaning this weekend. I'm excited about it! Thanks again for your help with this! :)

I have heard of those sheets. I may invest. If you ever get tired of sweeping around your dust ruffle on your bed, you can put a fitted sheet on your box spring. Viola! Covered and no more ruffle getting caught up in the sweeper. I did it to all of our beds. Love it. I am making egg roll in a bowl tonight. It was on my menu already. I’m a teacher with 3 kiddos at home who have tons of afterschool activities, so I pretty much just do quick clean ups each night…I always make sure to fill my dishwasher and run the load as we go to sleep and then the first thing I do when I get home from work is put away the clean dishes and start loading up again with the new days worth of dirty dishes. Most nights (when needed) I’ll quickly sweep kitchen. I try to do a big clean each weekend on either Sat or Sun depending on what’s going on with family, sometimes I skip it and then try to catch up throughout the following week. I have a love/hate relationship with cleaning bc I love a clean and organized home, but it’s like as soon as I get everything clean…someone makes it dirty again LOL

Hi Amy! Love your channel. A little hack for your air fryer… fill with water to cover bottom add some dawn power wash, turn on for 5-6 mins. It cleans itself and doesn’t hurt the machine

I have a 10 year old daughter and a 9 month old son. Single mama and I work full time so my main cleaning tends to get pushed off to Saturday or Sunday. After getting my daughter from after school and picking up my son from the sitter, it's already 7pm when I get home so it's dinner, baths, and bed usually. However, I'll find myself staying up late cleaning up because, I too, hate going to bed with a dirty sink. Just a little tip for outdoor fridges. If you stock a lot of warm items all at once, especially if the fridge is in a warmer area of the house, while you have the door open, a lot of the cold air escapes. Then when you close all the items in the fridge has to work extra hard to recool everything so often times the items in the back cool faster and freeze before then rest get cold enough to let the fridge know to stop cooling. So items in back can explode because they get too cold. All that to say, try cooling your items in stages, don’t put everything in at once. Haha. Hope this helps.

Right now I'm a stay at home momma. We are in a very small space right now so I try to get the things done that are more difficult or take longer once my kids get home from school while they're gone for the day. Then everything else that's easier and quick to do while they're home. Most of the time I go grocery shopping after I pick them up from school but I've been trying to do that after I drop them off in the morning so it's a little faster and gives me time to walk around outside of my house for a little bit.

Hi! I love your videos! We had the same problem with exploding drinks in our fridge. Something that seems to help us is leaving a gap (2 or 3 inches) between the back of the fridge (inside) and the drinks or food items. I hope you have a great week and I look forward to your next video!

I clean whenever I have the time and energy. But, I will say I can’t go to bed with dishes in the sink or a messy house. I think I get it from my Mom, she was the same way. Dishes are always done, house picked up, things put away. She always said she didn’t want to wake up the next morning feeling like she was already behind, or come home from work to a messy house and have to cook dinner. I’m the same way, I’ll get less sleep to have the satisfaction of a tidy house. 🏡

I had the SAME problem with Walmart! They would text my order is ready so I would go and see end up eating 30-60 minutes!! I just use Walmart delivery now :)

Hi Amy! ✨ I was a night owl earlier in my life now I usually go to bed around 11 P.M. ✨ I tidy and clean my house during the day-each day of the week I routine clean different things so when my family is home in the P.M. then all I need to do is wash dinner dishes and tidy up the living room before I go to bed. ✨Have a great week! ✨

I have a routine I follow while cleaning. When I get home from work (teacher), I always get 2-3 chores done right away before I sit down. This could be taking out the trash, unloading the dishwasher, starting laundry, vacuuming, etc. On the weekends, I start my cup of coffee, and while it is cooling (also before I sit down), I do the same chores or whatever else needs done. It only takes 10-15 minutes of my time, but it keeps my house in good shape. I do more deep cleaning usually on the weekends.

I am a school bus driver so I'm at work by 5am and home around 9am. Then back to work at 130 and done by 5. Usually try to clean some when everyone is gone during the day but my son has autism and has lots of therapies and appointments. Usually most cleaning is done on weekends. I do have 2 teenagers that have chores so that helps. My youngest 2 don't do much for chores yet

I'd like to see your outdoor cleaning routine for spring. I love planting flowers. There's always the cleaning of flower beds. I redid our shutters last year with clear spray paint. It was a cheap and easy fix for faded shutters.

I love my air fryer!!! I am fortunate enough to be retired and home!! I don't have any children at home other than my dogs! 😀 I get to clean whenever I want but I tend to get it done in the morning so the rest of the day is free!!😀💖💖

Hi Amy! I work outside of the home full time so my big cleaning is done on the weekend. I try and keep up with the kitchen, bath, laundry and then vacuum throughout the week but mopping etc is done on Sat/Sun.

I tried waart grocery pick up once. They made me wait a long time too. I prefer Target pick up. My hubby does most of the grocery shopping. He goes to Aldi, Ruler, or Schnucks (local grocery store in St Louis). I'm a night owl and work nights but I love my sleep! I wash curtains, windowsills track/windows, blinds, baseboards, top cabinets, and light fixtures during spring clean plus declutter but do that thru the year. I want to get the tineco.

I think its great that you are trying to show that eating healthy is important with your children. Because it was expensive we did not get treats everyday either. I grew up in Ireland, we did not get soft drinks "sodas", desserts, candy "sweets" everyday either. We got something nice on the weekend like a lovely cake or a chocolate bar and it made me appreciate it all the more when I did get a treat, it made it more special. Having said that, my mother always made lovely dinners and tea time.

I typically clean during the day and I try to clean the kitchen before I go to bed. I hate going to bed with a dirty kitchen. Some nights I am just too tired and the kids or hubby will put away the leftovers and start the dish washer sometimes they don't. I am not a great sleeper so I am up pretty much every morning around 3:30 - 4:00 am. If the kitchen has not been cleaned the night before that is when I clean it.

Thank you for sharing your debt free story, I went to watch it and it was very helpful. We are following Dave Ramsey now and it’s nice to hear a success story from someone I consider a friend. I clean some at night but mainly it has to wait till the weekends due to work and sports. I typically get most of my cleaning done during the day while my kids are at school. My oldest is home. He’s 18 and graduated last school year. But my 15, 10 and 8 year olds are at school. And I can get so much more done without interruptions.
