Mom of 7 here!! 5 of my kids are on different soccer teams, and 2 of my girls are in different dance classes so I get the busyness and I also dont enjoy cooking meals. My crock pot is what gets me through a lot, meals are quickly thrown together, less mess, and you can eat in between the chaos. I do anything from chicken, to steak in the crockpot. Also sheet pan meals are super super quick. Season chicken, throw your favorite veggies and potatoes on a sheet pan and throw them in the oven.

Happy Sunday! You and Avery did great work on the playroom!! Speaking of Avery, I hate to hear she was so sad about softball ending for that particular season. I hope she looks at it more as a little break before the new season starts back up again. In that break, she can recharge her batteries a bit and maybe even squueze in some practices so that when the new softball season starts, she'll be back better than ever! It's so great that she has such a passion for the sport! Glad to hear your mom is recovering from her back surgery as well!

My 8 yr old plays softball, but cheer is her thing. This year she moved up and they are doing a longer season and will cheer at midget football games. She's really come into her own. It's so fun to see her confidence in starting off the cheers or how she's improved in just a month of camp and practices. Especially since I'm not a cheer person myself.... this is definitely all her!

No wonder she had a bad back-so glad she is doing better!! 🎉 My mom is a nurse and had back surgery a few years ago...I am a nurse and started going to a chiropractor today for my neck and back and I am your age. Hi Jamie, great job in the playroom. I've raised my grandsons almost their whole lives, and I agree about them getting older. One will be 16 in Aug. one was 14 in April, and the baby will be 12 in Sept. I just told them how grown up they're all getting and how proud I am of them. Time has flown by and still is. Hey Jamie I hope you’re having a great week, I have had a few low points the past few days, Friday morning my uncle had to have triple bypass surgery and then Saturday morning my 1st cousins husband killed himself the family is in shock he was in his 40 they have 4 children, remember my cousin in prayer 🙏, the highlight is my uncle is off the ventilator and doing pretty good and probably will be removed from the ICU tomorrow 🙌

A clean pillowcase may work on your TV screen. I made the fatal error once of using a glass cleaner and microfibre cloth to clean some fingerprints on my TV and I could NOT get the smears off. I got some inspiration to use a different texture cloth and I think the pillow case almost “absorbed” the smears. Hope it helps!

We like a dutch meal. Red cabbage with apple and mash patatoes. Sometimes with beef or speklap or hamburger or a sausage. I call it prinsesstamppot because its a pink meal. Its quick easy and healthy. Also we like pasta with red saus and groundbeef and tomatos and sweet pepper.

I have picked up quite a few of your recipes over the years and they have become favorites of my fiancé and I, and I can’t wait to cook them when we have our own kids someday! Someone else commented and said it would be great to see a video of ALL recipes that you’ve made. I love your easy meals for the crockpot, but I also like the other meals you come up with, too. Amy Darley has a ton that center around putting 3-4 chicken breasts in the crockpot and they turn into some variation of spaghetti every time (not trying to diss her, I love her! My go to is Mexican Bar, all the toppings (ground beef/turkey, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, queso cheese shredded cheese, jalapenos, refried beans, black beans, fiesta corn, diced/shredded chicken, taco sauce, tortillastrips, taco shells & tortillashells) for a burrito, Taco, salad put out and everyone builds it themselves, baked penne pasta, copycat KFC bowls, baked potato bar, again any topping ( broccoli, cheese, bacon, sour cream, chives butter). My 'bars' might seem like a lot of work but honestly it's mostly dump and heat in microwave and we have left overs for lunches. 😊

Jamie, I love that your kids play school and store....because I'm 53 years old and those were the same games I played as a kid with my sister! Our dad worked for a printing company, and he used to bring home scrap carboned paper (two layers where it copied onto the second layer....) and wow did we think we were cool with that! 😆😆

I just re-watched one of your videos from 6 months ago where you were talking about socks going missing or rarely having pairs. I have mesh laundry bags (mesh delicate bags) that I have labeled with each of my kids' names and either me or my kids will put their dirty socks in them right after taking them off and then at the end of the week or when I do laundry I just zip up the mesh bags and wash them, then I fold them. After lost a pair since. I hope this helps😊

I’m glad your mom is feeling better! It must be such a wonderful feeling. I was away for over 2 weeks seeing my brother and niece and nephew and sister in law I cleaned before leaving but cleaned again when came back bc I’m such an eat freak laundry didn’t get done till midnight last night and today that’s what I got to do is fold and put away it’s 2 buckets worth of it I always procrastinate putting it away but thank you for the motivation if it! My niece’s bday is coming up so I got her headband set to make and make up she loves those things and Barbie’s too she’ll be 6!

Yes! They have some little programs here for kids where they can do daycamp or just a few hours of a camp. It’s usually a variety of activities! Arts, crafts, sports, etc.! Avery has been so busy with softball and she has a couple of friends that will get together for play dates so she likes to stay home and do that type of stuff.

I know what you mean about liking the older ages better. When my daughter was in preschool, I really felt like I was in my element, because I had taught pre-k for many years and was so excited to do things with her that I had done with my students. Now she's 8 and going into 3rd grade! She's still into Barbies and loves the Dog Man book series. Does Avery have a favorite book series? My daughter has always read a grade level above the one she's in and she gets bored if the books are too easy. I love how the playroom turned out! ❤
