Add to that a recent house move & the overwhelming amount of packing/unpacking/organizing decisions/etc. that takes & it's definitely understandable that something's gotta get set on the back burner. BTW, my craft room totally looks worse & I haven't moved in years!😅

I have a postcard on my pinboard with the words: 'With creative people there is no chaos, there are just ideas lying around everywhere'. I've lived in my house for 8 years, and my craftsroom is still a mess. I have redesigned and reorganized it several times, but I'm afraid, this will be a neverending story. You are so funny and cheerful and inspiring, I love your videos. Best regards from Germany.

Thank you for sharing. I recently took everything out of my closet. We have lived here 30 years, I am a little embarrassed to say. So I patched big cracks in the ceiling and walls, painted it all, stained the my clothes rod, wall papered a white shoe rack, put wood like contact paper on 2 shelves and went through my clothes. I then put up my favorite scripture in frames and hung them. I love it. I have inspired myself. Good for you!

Don’t be hard on yourself NataLee, you’ve accomplished a ton of tasks in your new house in 4 short months all the while being a Wife, Mother, and Daughter! In our mind we can complete a project in the snap of our fingers. The reality is always soooo much slower! When I start to feel unhappy about thing’s taking more time or not going as planned I re-frame those negative thoughts. I refuse to let Satan to steel my joy, he will NOT win! Currently, I have put off a knee replacement, but It can't wait any longer. I have one project I have to finish and will need a drill for much of the work. It sort of reminds me of my one walk in closet and entry closet if I were to take everything out and put it in my living room to see the whole scope of things. Other than that those two places, my apartment stays pretty much spotless. I love beautiful things but there’s no point in owning beautiful things if your space is a mess. My craft space has always been in a garage, and that worked well especially when I moved from California back to Texas and my apt had an attached garage which I could have parked two Miata’s back bumper to front, since I only had one I used all of my totes to divide craft space and car space. All of your subscribers know how beautiful your home will be and is already on the way to it’s final beautiful look! Truly, you never have to apologize for having a real life! 🤗💞

Your craft/studio looks amazing. The details- I love the sconces! It's so funny that you put the marble on your work table. As I was looking at the wall with your sign, the cracks on my screen saver made the wall look like marble and I thought a marble backer on that wall would be perfect and then you put the marble on the work table. 😂 I agree with your thoughts to extend the bookcases to fill the wall and changing out the pretty dresser. It doesn't quite fit. I look forward to watching this room evolve as you live and work in it. We've all had the chaos when we move or redo a space. You are not alone, and there is no judgment for being a work in progress. We all are.😊

I love it! It came together so well. Yes, sometimes it takes a lot longer sometimes. I usually end up taking a "where does that look best" break with several things! lol. My craft/sewing room is pretty big, but i don't have the wall space i would like to have. My husband and I have built tables on wheels for my sewing machines, crafting and Cricuting. It's much easier to move for cleaning or to make a design change. Lived seeing Miss Dolly!

I really enjoyed this video. It is what the rest of us go through. Sometimes I get caught up in how perfect and beautiful the designers are, and I am not. Thank you for being real.

At least you have a room. My stuff is all over my dining room and living room, and when working on something I always need to clean up every day for dinner. You should see my basement. No judging here. Beautiful fandelier. It is awesome. Have a fantastic weekend.
