I love the new color on those doors, it makes it look more relaxing! We used to live in an old farmhouse like yours in Ontario and we also had those hooks around the room for clothes:-) We didn't have near as pretty windows as you have though! Hope you have a wonderful time with your company!

I love the 3rd floor....I take it you have the splits on the walls in your older home? Anyway just an FYI...that eggshell colored lamp base is from 1994! I had it on my wedding registry at a store no longer in business called Service Merchandise in FL. I lived in Ohio but was getting ready to winter 6 months in FL so I found it down there and added it to my registry. They had those stores in OH and FL and probably PA as well. I see it in lots of YT videos!

Your son is the sweetest little boy! Unsolicited advice? Don't keep your wedding dress in your guest closet. When your guests, especially if they've been staying a long time, leave, they may accidentally take it too thinking it is their own. I'm sure they would return it, but if they just shove stuff into a storage unit.... Don't ask me why I'm giving this advice 🤣😥🙃. Your guests will be super blessed to be in your home with your beautiful peaceful family! ❤️ Thank you for your example of hospitality to them!

It's so good to get inspiration from you for those ultra crazy times! We've all been there at some point and no doubt will be again - but seeing someone else go through it and find a good way of mentally re-framing the chaos is so helpful. Your house is a real treasure and you've opened my eyes a little to using modern pieces of decor and furniture. I've always been really traditional with interiors so it's so nice to have some fresh ideas.
