After watching the videos of your husband's pasting. I began to watch your other video's here. I know you have alot on your plate right now. You don't want to worry about cps as you are grieving. Take one room at a time a few hours or more a day clean and declutter. Main rooms and the kids rooms. Have your older boys help you. One can watch the little one's. It's about surviving and keeping your family together. Don't give them a reason to question the welfare of your children. You can do this. Stay strong for your kids, they need you.

why do the little girls always look so dirty? they are all very pretty but the way they look is not right. teach the girls how to clean and brush their hair. They deserve that much... and to be taught how to clean their food and eat it. Feed them lunch before you take them off for grocery hauls. This is so sad to watch the filth these kids live in its awful. The food drippings all over the kitchen cabinets the floor and putting the food you eat on the floor with all the kids stepping sitting and eating it! The hygiene of those kids is heartbreaking😢

I just can't believe what I was seeing!! The 1st thing I did notice is what you said about the drippings down the cabinet fronts absolutely disgusting filth!!! What a shame these poor kids are living in squalor I would love to know the last time the kids had a bath and brushed their teeth! So sad!

The hoarding and filthy environment and unkempt children indicates severe mental illness, and something needs to be done to help these children. I am a disability support worker and some of my clients are those living with mental illness. All of their homes look exactly like this and they themselves are also unkempt. If any of my clients had children living in the home, it would be my duty to call child protection. Thankfully none have children, but I did report one client to the RSPCA for animal neglect. I do not understand why something has not been done about these poor children.

@@doublingdown1736 agree but also, this is behavior of kids who don’t get fed regularly. Kids that are. well nourished and get regular meals do not act this way. It’s more of them being starving at it being a discipline issue. Even if she was to discipline them, it probably wouldn’t do a whole lot. They act like they don’t get much food and haven’t gotten much food in years. One of the kids is extremely skinny.

Yes, I really feel so bad for this woman. I didn't comment on the 1st video I ever watched because she was talking about the fact her husband had just passed away. Jesus H.....she is a mess, though. Even in these videos. My heart has been really heavy thinking about this family. I know everyone processes grief differently and she kept saying that her younger kids were too little to understand anything had happened. These sweet little babies were saying things about her crying while she was crying. They might not completely understand but they def know something is up. And then to decide to just not tell the 15 y.o......I feel so bad for this kid too. How can you expect your children to be honest with you about the big things when you can't be honest with them? I'm truly worried for the future of this family and I wish I could be a friend to her. Edit: When I originally posted this I was under the assumption that she was sharing in real time. She later made a video saying she thought she had made it clear that he had died in July. I would not think it strange at all that she recorded these and posted them later. I get it....you record in real time and wait until you feel stronger to actually post them. It is quite possible that I would misunderstand. I don't always read descriptions and things like that. However, I just really feel like something so odd is going on with this situation. I know I will get hate saying "don't judge this poor woman". Why would anyone post anything, though, and not expect some judgement? I hate to comment on these things but the mother needs somehow to become better at helping them and teaching them how to care for their hair, bodies, and also washing their food before eating since the fruits were all over the floor and for sure full of pesticides. Lots of people dont think we should suggest these things to her, but its out of love for these children and I feel she uses them to an extent for her own selfish wants and needs.

I took 5 every week food shopping! We all held hands in the car park or held onto the trolley. They each got a treat, that they could eat when they got home, but if they played up, treat would go back on shelf!! Not allowed to eat til we were home! They only very rarely played up! I stacked groceries in the car as I was pedantic how it was placed. They helped bring things in and unload but not put away! You need to get the bubbies to help you before eating the goodies!

Had 4 boys and I always took them shopping with me unless they were in school and they would help take everything into the house. And would help unpack onto the bench so I could then put stuff away in the freezer fridge and cupboards then each fortnight they would take turns to put the stuff in the laundry bathroom and toilet. Seriously, try to push more fruit on the kids because you know what I’ve noticed from a few of your grocery hauls.. despite all the chaos, the first thing your kids seems to go after the second you walk through the door is the fruit! They seem to like it more then you think! See what happens if you increase the fruit just a little and decrease the chips just a little, although I do feel chips in moderation doesn’t hurt much. But they do at least seem to love fruit!

I think you always shop wisely. I used to have to go to five stores to save money until they started price matching. I don't know if they do that in Canada. Introduce different fruit and vegetables one at a time. Like each time you shop. I called fruit "God's candy". You'd be surprised at how many how many they'll like!

From the time my girls were toddlers we would have a large vegetable garden. When they planted and tended to the garden with me, they were excited to prepare and eat "their" plants. Also, they got to go out and "pick the salad" and them prepare it for dinner. (they were some funky looking salads, but they were so proud 😂) As adults they both love all vegetables, so my plan worked!

This woman looks like a good mom have some compassion she just lost her husband she’s doing the best she can with what she can she has 8 kids and had a 70 year old sick husband maybe she couldn’t clean like most people least she has the fridge and freezer stocked so the children are eating and clothed. Maybe people should put themselves in her shoes she is heartbroken and trying to figure out how to take care of her family. So get over yourself with all your sucky comments. Just saying!!!!! A good mom would not exploit her kids, or allow their kids to live in these sort of conditions. She’s not a good mom. She is very neglectful. The kids deserve better, and frankly I have more sympathy for the kids than her. CPS needs to open another case and these kids need to be put in loving homes. I have compassion, but only for the kids.

Although i agree tge place needs a tidy and clean it makes a change to see slightly more realistic families rather than these sqeaky clean well off 'perfect'showy families you often get on u tube . House is small apparantly but think older kids need to pitch in of they dont already.Kids often love digging into the grocery shop and think she puts it on the floor for ease of showing it . I feel sad for her losing her husband . Having so many kids and especially when he was the age he was and in poor health could be said to be irresponsible , but it happened and you cant go back. Hopefully she can eventually have a clean start ,learn to drive and will gain strength

Yes, I have frozen vegetables as side dishes with the meals. I stock up on meat when it is a good sale. I am currently buying less and am using up what is in the freezers. We also don't buy soda anymore.

@@Momof8kids that’s what I do with frozen vegI sometimes struggle with our house as well by the way. With 3 kids (2 disabled!) I ended up momentarily hiring a cleaner and basically once things were calmer no longer needed her - I then found it easier to keep on top of. You seem such a loving and gentle mum , your kids meals and plentiful snacks are fantastic. I hope you are able to get on top of your house and things get smoother for you. Love from the UK xxx

Not trying to be judgmental but PLEASE make the kids wait until you have washed that fruit ! Possible pesticides… and just think who knows who has handled the strawberries from the time they were picked and packaged ! Wash blackberries! Blueberries … all berries . Wash apples, peaches, plumbs , etc. I have two grandbabies age 2 and 10 months. My 2 year old grandson loves fruit . He will try to grab a peach or apple but I never ever let him put it to his mouth without me first washing it well and then drying it with a paper towel. It’s nasty otherwise . And dumping your food on the floor. I was getting anxiety watching the frozen and cold items laying there on the floor and everyone walking on everything . I’m paranoid I guess, but first thing I do is put my cold items and frozen items immediately in the fridge/freezer. I know you are trying to show your “haul” but maybe show as you put things in the fridge . Just a thought. I mean you do you. I raised 5 kids, I had three and my two step kids all under the age of 7. I know it can get hectic (I know an additional 3 would have been much more so) but I had to have a certain amount of structure to keep my household running . I wasn’t overly strict or anything but it makes life much easier when it’s not chaos and the house isn’t destroyed all the time etc. better for the kids and the whole family . Hope everything works out smoothly for you . Very sorry to hear of your husbands passing 😢
