Don't feel ashamed dear. If fashion/clothes is your hobby and something you LOVE to collect, then you can still be a minimalist. Minimalism is more about daring to let go of things you are not using and don't kindle joy anymore 😊

All your reasons are the same for me. Even asking “what is the point in downsizing more?” I have 40 items, but it is too much as I don’t wear half of it. I do like everything I have, but I always wear the same thing that is my favorite because of softness - in general the way it feels along with the color. I also don’t have any genes and don’t want any (blame the popularity and comfort of leggings!) I am watching videos to become motivated to get rid of some t-shirts… Best motivational video so far :)

Thank you for making this video. It’s so refreshing to see a minimal wardrobe for once! I plan on doing this myself within the next month. I just don’t see a point anymore of having so many clothes that I don’t wear.

Thank you for this video. Because of it i relized, that jeans material isn't the most comfortable material and I don't need to own it. Thank you so much❤️

About 6 or 7 years ago I realised that leggings are not only comfortable but they are good for every occasion so I don't need jeans. I did get a pair here and there over the years, have one now that feels comfortable enough. But jeans don't let you move freely, do not let your belly expand properly if needed, are bulky if you wanna pack them when going on a trip... The only good thing about them are the pockets 😍 I do use jeans shorts in the summer tho. Need to find something second-hand that feels and I might just get rid of them 😊

What about doing laundry? If you sweat in your Tshirt during the day and need to put another one on while it washes/dries, what do you do?

Hi. I am also a clothing minimalist but I like it fresh. I wash my t Shirts and underwear everyday, trousers every two days and my Jackets twice a Week. I dont need a Wardrobe only a clothing rack. 4 Outfits washing and wearing in a cycle. Always the smell of fresh clothes in the sleeping room. I like it. And no ironing.So much time to save this way.

Thanks for sharing your awesome wardrobe. I just searched this with the word 'Everything I own minimalist' and saw this! Now I have 31 clothes which consist of my tops, bottoms and also jackets. Plz upload the vid about your outers, shoes and bag when you have time. it's so sad that in my country, it is not easy to wear some casual and comfortable clothes when I go to work. 🥺 Wanna wear leggings. + so impressing you have a Buddha's picture behind you lol.

Yes, I do love fashion and designer clothes but I felt inclined to be a minimalist as a healthier option for myself. Before becoming a minimalist I already decided to buy most of my clothes from second hand places. I still own around 35 pieces of clothing and I do love designer pieces but they are more loved now ☺️

Living in the tropics I don't have to factor in seasons, as there's only two types of weather - sunny or rainy. I've gotten lazier the older I get, and now I almost always wear comfy midi dresses. I own a couple of palazzo pants for occasions when dresses are not practical.

Nice, thanks for the video. I am thinking 3 T-shirts might be good for me if I wear them everyday, so I can have one to wash and one for an emergency. I live in a very hot climate by the way, but it will get cool enough in winter to require a couple long layers on top and pants on the bottom. The shoes are flip flops, which I could get rid of probably, but they are convenient. I have work shoes which I don't currently use but will be useful in the future. Having three of socks, t shirts, underwear still is less convenient and requires washing more often, and they all take a small amount of volume when packed. I could stand to get rid of 1/3 of my clothes still.

I was thinking about getting rid of stuff I don't wear and also investing in some quality clothes from natural materials like cotton, bamboo, hemp, linen. I wasn't a leggings person , I was wearing jeans, more tight ones and now I am wearing only leggings and I don't wear jeans :D So I am also about comfort like you :D also if you like the look of jeans, just get leggings which look like them, I have one like that from my sister. So you can have on you jeans look alike and being comfy at once :D

I try not to buy from second hand clothes as much these days as there's always energy attached to it which you bring into your home. Even though you've washed it many times and air lined it it takes a few rounds to really cleanse these clothes. What are your guys thoughts on this? Ps I'm definitely a minimal clothing buyer these days. Try to buy quality over quantity for sure.

Wool and cashmere are extremely cruel products, please reconsider. Erin Janus made a video explaining why xx
@nowhere81303 жыл бұрын
I’m afraid to watch the video because I don’t want to see the animals in pain. I don’t usually buy wool anyway but since I’m moving to a colder climate, what is warm but also cruelty free? Everyone pushes toward merino wool but I don’t want that.
@oceanocean54963 жыл бұрын
@@nowhere8130 I mean, if you think about it, professional mountain climbers wear only artificially made fabrics because it's litghter and more efficient in terms of protection from cold. So you definitely can live in cold without wool. I live in a place where it can be 30-35°C below zero in winter, but I'm fine, layering is key, just find some thermical underwear
