Do you have any tips for getting a stuck O2 sensor out?
@chrisjones61655 жыл бұрын
Plasma cutter,o/a torch,zip disc or hackzall lol. No idea and that's why I struggle Everytime I work on a vehicle. Did manage to diagnose gf car with a misfire and get that fixed.. ended up being bad ignition coil.

Brother, your videos are so awesome. The production quality is getting so good, and I love your content. It takes a man to say that if you aren't able or comfortable, pay somebody. You are quickly becoming my favorite channel!

Thanks for your support brother it means a lot to me. It definitely does and a lot of guys won't admit they need or ask for help but I see nothing wrong with it.

On Ebay you can buy replacement O2 sensor bungs, many are available already beveled for installation on pipe. These are around $4. Also available are bungs with other shapes and angles.

Outstanding video. I recently tackled the front left O2 sensor on my son's 1998 Ranger. It was a bitch, but got it out using PB Blaster penetrating catalyst and a wrench. Entire job cost him 30 bucks for the replacement sensor.

Instead of welding in a new bung, you could cut the o2 sensor off flush with the bung, drill out the center with a 16.5mm bit and tap with a M18 1.5mm tap and you're back in the game. Incidentally, if you get the o2 sensor out, stripping out the threads, you could drill out the rust, stick weld some material over the threads (or whats left of them), then drill and tap that.

I usually pay for oil change. I can watch and 2$ more than just oil and filter. Just Make sure u can watch at Walmart if u go that route. I know I know but I can shop and get it done at once and with kids that matters
@RedemptionGarage5 жыл бұрын
It's close in price just to pay for an oil change so i can't blame you there lol.

😂😂 what's funny is one guy was saying I was sponsored by Milwaukee because the Dewalt drill died and I said the Milwaukee was better but little does he know I own both and like I told him I'm just giving my honest opinion regardless of brand.

Don't get under your vehicle without safety glasses. I had a piece of rust fall in my eye and had to go to the ER to get it removed.

if its that bad and your on a budget, cut the wires, find I good spot, drill a new hole, weld in an o2 bung and just relocate it, that would be my answer, lil goddy, yes, but allot easier
@QueBall52353 жыл бұрын
Actually that long socket won't help you there is a much shorter ""socket wrench"" bout 10 buck's from carid that's a lot more help n it's long enough handle you can get a bite on it or if you need a cheater bar (which I wouldn't recommend) as stated before don't get in a hurry use heat n very good lube (beeswax is much better) just for grace make certain you use antiseise putting sensors back in incase the new 1s fail just saying
