Thank you, I'm so fucking tired of at least one player using that God-forsaken weapon in every 3v3, I don't understand how one can look at the game, especially a dev, see that there's a weapon that can literally one shot without huge negatives and still think that's balanced, unbelievable how incredibly fucking dumb that piece of shit is.

@@Max1715 That is not true imo. The draw back is that it cant combo and got a insanely small reach. In duels I dont have much a problem (jumping or running away from the maul looking down helps) with the maul. The ES is there worse for me. The issue is when it becomes , for example, a 3v3 and one can just come from behind without you knowing and oneshot you. Which can be fixed with communication, but you dont have that in mordhau.

@@coolboy9979 I play with friends on Discord, even with communication, if the three fights are happening close to each other, there often isn't enough time to spot a target switch, plenty of weapons don't have combos, it doesn't really matter much at all considering how the game works with its countering system, it's a one-shot weapon, and it shouldn't exist.

Hey stouty, I've been going around and analyzing playstyles for awhile now. Mine is mainly a gutted version of giru giru's because I love mind games and being able to take advantage of a more use everything playstyle is right up my alley but I was curious about yours in particular, not only because your a top player but your own use of the resources at your disposal is very nice to watch. I actually wanted to know if you prefer prioritizing spacing and positioning yourself on the battlefield in a strategic and powerful position that gives you the upper hand over your opponent(s), or if you were a more fight on equal ground person that enjoys taking on multiple people head on luring them into undermining you forcing them into the very position they thought they had you in.

That's because in high level play you can use whatever you want, and feints are a game mechanic and not a cheat or exploit so they're perfectly fine, although can be annoying as fuck.

Honest question, how is what you do not considered gambling? I am not pro or against gambling. I frankly don't care. But I've seen you do essentially what you tell others is gambling. Could you explain when something is gambling and why its bad?

@@Stouty the last one of your videos I can immediately recall you mention it was in your "I was on form this session (1v2) video at around the 11:08 mark. I had just re-watched it a couple of days ago. You call the guy out for gambling but didn't see anything that looked suspicious. Again, still not even really sure what gambling is lol. But I suppose that's part of the issue that I can't really tell when someone is gambling versus fainting or reading your attack style and countering. The other thing is I guess I don't see how it is bad if it's only reading someones style and countering based on what their next move will be. I play ranked only occasionally, highest I've reached is Platinum 4, and a few times people have accused me of gambling when they lose 5-1. So I guess that would be great to understand. Thanks!

@@viniguez487 basically gambling is attacking out of turn or in some instances continuing an attack when there's an incoming attack that is going to hit you first (which then gets feinted or something), without a specific example it's hard to say what the difference is

But even then I guess it would be up to who could accelerate the fast though? The attacking out of turn is more noticeable but I guess it's hard to interpret punishing someone versus attacking out of turn no? Man this all sounds like a great video topic lol.
