Usually when you want something dark like your door to be a brighter/lighter colour, you first do a white base coat and then the bright colour ;)

One thing that I always notice in your videos which I don't see often around me is that you're so independent. I absolutely love that about you and it's so inspiring. Tip for the brown door: next time paint it white and then wait for the white to dry and paint it over in the yellow so that it can be the right shade/ add white paint to the yellow to make it more pastel

I grew up in the 70s and love the look! You did this makeover beautifully. My favourite is the wallpaper and the painting on it. Also love the rug and the flowers on the piano. And who doesn't enjoy fairylights!!!
