Very strange, I’ve smoked for 5 years, vaped for the past 4 years and tried gum and patches. 2 weeks ago I decided to try the nicotine pouches you put under your top lip, they did me fine for 3 days then I just decided one morning to see how long I could last before I put my second one in. 2 weeks later o still haven’t put one in😂 I don’t understand why people are struggling so much, I drive a truck and every day for 3 years my e-cig was essentially welded to my hand all day, but it was only the first and second day I felt like death without nicotine. 2 weeks later it only occasionally pops into my mind after I’ve eaten a meal. Wish I quit years ago I was so sick of being a slave to nicotine and relying on it if I was slightly stressed, feel much better for it now it’s mostly in your head just keep yourself occupied.

It’s hard for the first month but the first two weeks were the hardest craving everyday and I almost gave in a few times but I powered through it what helped was watching the effects of vaping on lungs it would get me through it every time. After the first month the cravings mostly stopped besides a few random days when I would get stressed out at work or with life once I hit month 5-6 I haven’t craved it at all. I’ve saved $350 so far so even my wallet is feeling the benefit. It’s possible but you have to be ready in your heart to quit if your not don’t even waste your time.

Very helpful advice! Watch out for side effects of nicotine withdrawal like, constipation, cravings, anxiety, fatigue, cough, anger, brain fog, irritation, headaches, insomnia. Don't freak out guys! You're not going to have all these symptoms. All depends if you were a heavy or a moderate smoker. Distraction and chewing gum helps. Good luck to all who struggle with quitting!👋❤🙏 .

We all know the damage smoking does to your health and the benefits after quitting. But be prepared for the cravings, the relapse and the mental stress. You don't want to fix one issue and create a new one! Especially for the heavy smokers, try to reduce it first and then try to quit. Best wishes and stay strong! ❤

I'm 41 and I have quit nicotine a lot of times. Been smoking, chewing, vaping, all that since I was 12. The best method I've come up with is to use nicotine lozenges for a couple weeks then use the nicotine patches step 1,2,3, two weeks each step. I've found this way to have the least amount of withdrawal. It also helps with the psychological aspect of quitting which I believe is the real problem. I was recently off nicotine for 10 months and then thought it would be a good idea to start again. I quickly regretted starting and after a month I quit again. Now after using my drawn out quitting method i'm nicotine free with no withdrawal for 5 days.

My last patch was on Christmas eve. Christmas day was a nightmare. I lost most of my family. The depression I felt was scary. None of these quitting tip lines or helpers mention that quitting can depress you to a point of nearly deleting yourself. I started vaping to end it. The patches ended a 28 year cigarette habit, I'm a year cigarette free now. But a heads up on that extreme emotional change would have been very helpful. I'm depressed enough, I'm quitting to get major surgeries. If there was something out there to help THAT part, we'd probably have much higher success rates.

I went from a slim 135 all the way up to a pot belly 275. That's right, I almost made it to 300. My waist went from a 32 to a 50. I got kicked out of the navy for being obese and I lost my valuable retirement, if I could have stayed in. I developed severe sleep apnea and I'm a borderline diabetic. Had I known I was going to get fat like this, you best believe, I'd have never quit smoking. I'd rather have cancer or emphysema any day, than to have to be big and fat

I gained a lot of weight too after the first time I quit smoking. When you read about it on the internet they always say it’s common to gain 10 lbs. I gained about 50lbs within 2 months while dieting and exercising. This time around I have gained 34 lbs (been smoking on and off for 2 years). It sucks and I feel so disappointed in myself for starting again.

This could mean if they have caffeine and 10am and don't have anymore. They might not be able to sleep because of the withdrawal. This is complex and hard to believe

This does happen though to people. Some people are very sensitive to caffeine even hours later.

It’s been 7 weeks now. I don’t have a desire to smoke again, but I’m extremely tired and have no motivation to do anything. 😢

Been crashing out more often than not and use my blood sugar tester and I’m always focusing on my blood sugar levels while trying to quit cause I have hypoglycemia so my body doesn’t create enough blood sugar to begin with so as my blood sugar drops it drops extra so I’m sleeping more often than not 🥱 and normally when I get sleepy the way I do my sister see’s me and she gets worried my blood is low which it is by then so I might need to tapper myself rather than cold turkey on vaping and I have a mod with 5 sets of batteries and extra coils for my tank and I’m using to vaping like a steam engine and go through 120ml of juice every 2 weeks
