The funny thing is that the story for this comic is actually a really good idea and the Calling/Colly Birds twist is a great one. The problem comes from Troll being a really unlikable protagonist and not doing as you suggested in getting the rest of the team involved in this.

"Can anyone explain to me what's so extreme about the 12 days of Christmas?" Well, for one thing, historians have been looking at this song for a long time and nobody can find any significance to the various gifts mentioned. Near as anyone can tell, the song is literally just about some woman showing off how rich her boyfriend is that he can just give crazy gifts like this out in a single year. That's . . . kind of extreme. Extremely wasteful is still extreme, right?

Sousabird I doubt it. I never heard of it before and at least in Germany I doubt it could even be possible due to animal rights and th law requiring that when you know for a fact that bombs are there they have to be found and defused.

I can't speak to the presence of an Air Force base in England, but I know FOR A FACT that there is (or was until for sure 1993) a U.S. Military base of some sort there. I know this because my father used to work for the government as tech support for different military bases and I was born in England because of this.

The thing that underlines this recap is how painfully unfunny the story is. The basic premise of it is fine, a mad scavenger hunt with a ticking clock, but the Imageisms and awful characters just ruin any chance of it working. Funnily, I think you could probably make a decent Doctor Who Christmas special out of it.
