​I know this is not for a remake or a remaster but here's another thing I would ask for why don't we include a God of war game based on the 6 issues of DC/wildstorm comics that includes kratos's past his childhood meeting lisandra and having calliope then we can look for the ambrosia we can even expand more on the barbarian kings past alrik so that way we can understand why he hated kratos so much and we get to play as kratos without any of the weapons or the other blessed powers that the gods gave him later on when he became a servant of Aries he would mostly have his sword call valor but the ending should remain the same though like Calliope getting cured of the disease that Aries put on her and then at the end of the game the Spartan captain will promote kratos to be the general of his army and these six issues of the comics take place before kratos killed his own wife and daughter please Santa Monica please do this and this will be the first time playing as kratos without him having his godhood unlock

a randomizer could really make alot of encounters terrible. not terrible as in difficult but it just doesnt synergize greatly. edit: to add onto that; imagine a room and you just so happen to have no magic. It has absolutely no ring out spots or any sort of traps. Now what if coincidentally every enemy just so happens to be a cyclops. No collisions, no medusas for any petrification thingy, no minotaurs to air-grab till death and then get magic out of them, none of that. It would just be chipping away at their health. Randomizers can be cool but can also be tedious

What they should change in GOW : Ascension Remaster. Lower the amount of hits needed to break frozen/petrified enemies. The poseidon rune is useless because frozen enemies require a lot of melee hits to shatter in order to get red orbs.

That's sure a lot to ask for a 20-year old games remasters. And especially saying it's easy to do this, easy to do that... Are you sure? Even if they have source code, it's 20 years has passed. Anyway, if there's something i would ask, it will be some minor bug fixes from PS3 port. Like the music from the Rings of Pandora getting stuck in a loop over the rest of your playthrough, unless you reload the game.

Tbh, while I'm excited at the same time I'm skeptical about the rumor (even if they guy is reliable). I know that it claims Nixxes is working on it (with help from SMS) but IF it's a graphical update like the new Horizon remaster or Metroid Prime and not just a resolution upscale like PS4 GoW3 and it's all six Greek games then... Do they have the time to do that? I was told that Horizon is 10 times bigger then all these games combined so they can do it but these games are on different engine and consoles with different code and all that. I've never heard of a graphical updated remaster collection of 5+ games from different console gens and engines before. The part I want to see is the cutscenes because GoW1&2 used CG and prerecorded in-game cutscenes (the prerecorded ones are more obvious on PS3 when it goes from hi-res during gameplay to low-res in cutscenes). Will they reanimate them? Will they change the gods of Olympus designs in GoW1 to keep their appearances consistent with the later games? PS: Lulu is cute

Bro you don't understand the simplicity in a cutscene skip. The player already has no input, the engine speed just needs to be set to 10x with a black screen to hide everything. I was in 2018 PC with hidden menus and that's how they did cutscene skipping
