How to Install a Dishwasher | Bosch 500 series Dishwasher

Do you know how to install a dishwasher? If you know the basics of a dishwasher, then you are halfway there. Installing a dishwasher can be a DIY task, especially with the Bosch dishwasher. Its is almost plug and play these days. The one thing that could send you back to the store is the "NOT supplied " dishwasher connection kit.

Installing a dishwasher has 3 main componets to deal with - dishwasher drain hose, electric power supply, and the water supply. In the process, you can save by not having to pay for a $200 install !
Then the installation is as easy as connect the supply elbow, the supply hose, and the electrical connection. Then route the hoses and electric wire to the appropriate side of the dishwasher and prepare to move it into place. We were sure to connect the water supply and check for leaks first. With that good, we then pushed the dishwasher into place and made the final connections.
The Bosch 800 series dishwasher DID supply an electric cord which had plugs installed on either end. That makes it easy if you already have a dedicated outlet for the dishwasher under the cabinet.
On the Bosch dishwasher, all the connections are easily in reach. They have greatly simplified the connection process.
Bosch makes Bosch 100 series, Bosch 300 series, Bosch 500 series and Bosch 800 series. They may supply different means of final hook-up. Seems like things keep changing, so it would be good to inquire about EXACTLY how your particular washer electrical connections are to be made. Bosch does supply other means of making the electrical connections so its worth a double check.

I don’t know how I pulled it off but the counter top wasn’t working and those brackets were too long for the side. So unknowingly. I used the brackets for the bottom of the dishwasher cover🤦🏻‍♂️ it worked tho😂 I’m trying to put the bottom cover on like. Wtf am I doing wrong🤷🏿
