Beautiful stuff. That copper red vase at the beginning with the skipping, it could be salvaged with the patient application of a diamond cutting wheel. Make a stopper for it and... voi la! Looks like the rest of that piece turned out just fine. Food for thought.

The vase at 14:18 with strontium, green tea and rutile, if you could do that inverted on a vase it would make a very cool impression of a landscape.

Beautiful. Even love the “glazing errors”. It’s funny how some of our pieces we don’t like as potters, someone falls in love with it. I’m sure you can’t re-fire upside down as your friend Jon the potter does due to the shape of those vases, but would be interesting to see if that much glaze run could be turned around.

Is that snow I see outside Matthew? hehe Those vases are magnificent: wow. I love your copper red and YES I believe that glazes on porcelain do run more Matt! But now you'll know for next time :) I'm sure you can some of those pots where the glaze ran off the bottom. It always amazes me how a good combination of glazing can turn an "already" beautiful pot into a pot Matt. Your glaze combinations are exquisite. I always like your kiln unloading's. SO exciting isn't it? WOW those 2 bowls are incredible! the purple spray you added to the copper red was a very good choice :) If I make saucers, I create a "well" for the cup to sit in. {Look at the cup/saucer I sent for Danelle}. What is the name of that blue you used on the cream jugs Matt? I love it. Overall very good results, a lot of grinding to do now + some re-firing. Thanks, as always, for sharing this video with us Matt. I still promote you when ever I can and have sent dozens of people to you site.

The runoffs I'm wondering maybe try using a tile cutter? Probably not a good idea lol. Or wax towards the bottom.....better idea. Can't wait to see what my pieces look like. I'll send pics

I had a kiln very much like yours , but it a fibre kiln, 4 burners. I wish that I still had it. Those glazes were they bought or did you make them from a recipe? We fire to ^ 8/9 and would love to try those combinations. We are going to making up some glaze tests soon, and if you have any thoughts as to what to try.

The recipe is publicly available. Steven Hill is the one who developed it. You will have to mix it yourself.
