Goldens are all sluts, lol. I had one try to adopt me the other day because I pet him for 30 seconds. I tried to walk away and after walking with me about 10 feet he literally wrapped his paws around my leg and held onto me! A golden never neglects an opportunity for MORE love =) Great dogs.

I get it, I was broken up with my old boyfriend and we started talking again, I moved and adopted a cat I love sooo much. If someone just has some weird thing against animals for no reason....RUN! That's an actual red flag. Things will not turn out well with someone like that. Although let me add, if somebody doesn't want to sleep with an animal on the bed that's okay. Like me for example. I have several cats that I rescued. But I just simply can't get any actual sleep if they're in the bed with me. Every time they get near my face my nose gets itchy and I'm waking up easily, etc. So you always need to think about nuance and figure out where somebody's coming from and why

it's true, they are very needy. I used to go to the bathroom and my friend's lab who I babysat would come in with me. I never could go ANYWHERE without his big lug head in my face, such a sweetheart. My own dog is less needy and more like me -- she goes under the bed into her own clubhouse, has her own private time, doesn't need to follow everywhere. Such different and amazing personalities!

I adopted a cat and she's needy too, so was my previous cat. It's nice to feel so loved but yes this one wants ALL the attention ALL the time. I think when it comes down to it, living beings are most important and the ones who are so loving and don't have much other than you should be a priority. When she's feeling extra needy I try to give her extra attention if I can.

I went through a very similar experience with my black lab mix and my girlfriend (now wife) 20 years ago when she came to my house for the first time She was not a fan of big dogs (he was 92 pounds) so I was nervous. After about 10 minutes they both forgot I was even there. He sat between us on the couch and laid his head on her lap for the whole movie.

People that don't want pets at all don't know what unconditional love is. They say they love their boyfriend or girlfriend but never wants any kind of pet, they definitely do not know what love is. Getting a dog or cat or any kind of pet, and watch an animal love you so much. But there are people that do not deserve animals. The abusers to unconditional love should be banned from ever owning one. Tattoo their hand to recognize an abuser. A symbol to recognize an abuser so it can never be removed and then no one will give you an animal to abuse. Plus their name in a data base. This video is amazing. He made sure is son is never left out after he got a girlfriend. She was just as amazing, opening her heart and loving his son and Kobe loves her just as much. I love the Dodo videos. Reminds me of the bond and relationship I had with my recently passed away Boxer. We did everything together and he followed me around like my 2nd shadow, but I was just as obsessed with him and constantly gave him love like he did me every time he saw me. My mother used to say he was a lil nuts for me and a "fruitloop" but she would laugh because he would just keep licking my face and head forever with his lil stubby wiggling so fast you'd think it was going to detach from the rest of his body. I've been through ALOT in life, probably could even write a book about it but tbh losing my best friend and buddy has been the #1 hardest thing I've ever had to deal with, worse then Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill OK, worse than finally getting sober and just as bad as getting off Opiates as well... Just a huge empty spot in my heart now.
