This is so so so good. The bread is so soft and delicious. However as this recipe made 2loaf and my son do not like raisin, I made a little changes to the 2nd loaf. Instead of spreading butter & milk, I spread butter & cream cheese. Instead of raisin, I use meat floss. Now I can bake 2different bread with just at the same time. Thank you so much. Really love this recipe

Just baked this. Hand knead as I don't have a dough mixer. Used a tube pan too as I don't have two long pans. It turns out fabulous! I wish there's way I can share my product here. Thanks for the recipe 😘😘😘

I just made this, it’s unexpectedly successful!!! Thank you! It tastes so much better than what you get from outside!!! I didn’t put high hopes on it when making cuz the dough smelled sour even I followed the portions indicated. Overall it’s very very goood, fantastic!! Anyone could give me some tips on how to not have a hard surface?

Pecan and caramel stuffing, brush with milk and butter then finish it off wuth a drizzle of icing!! 🤗 Been looking all iver for that swiss roll bread but none afforded it, sadly. Hi Qiong, When we knead the dough do we need to take note on the temperature of the dough? If too high temperature(30 degree Celsius) do we need to stop and put it in the refrigerator to lower down the temperature?

Don't think this is necessary. The warmer the area - the faster the dough will rise. You need to look for a rise double in size based on the time given.

The bread came out lovely! Just a little confused with the conversion. 1 cup of flour is about 127g. The 2 cups +3 tbsp +2 tsp is only about 287g. Anyway followed the gram measures u gave n it turned out beautiful. Thanks so much!

Hi again, we usually use warm water to activate the yeast. Is there a reason for cold milk? Will there be a difference if I used warm milk?

Hi Miss Qiong, Celine here. Nice to know you.Just try to make this recipe. After fermented for 1 hour, the dough does not rise to double size. I did the finger test, the mark did not stay. What should I do ? Discard the dough ?May I know my problem ? I used the hook attachment to beat at slow speed No 1 for 2 minutes till well combined. Then increased to No 2 , continued to beat for 5 minutes.Did the stretching test, OK. Add the butter and continued to beat at No 2 for 1 minute and increased the speed to No 3 and continued to beat for 7 minutes. Lastly increased to speed No 4 to beat for 1 to 2 minutes. Covered and fermented for 1 hour.Could it be the beating of the dough gave me the problem ? Please advised.Thanks you in advanced. Good Day ! My hand stand Mixer is Kenwood with Max 7 speed.

There is no problem with your dough kneading. I guess it is winter now, because the room temperature is too low for 1 hour and it hasn't been rise. When I made it in the summer, it is generally fermented at room temperature. You can try let the dough ferment in the oven or a warm place. , So the fermentation speed will be faster

How long did you need to mix the dough after adding the butter on speed one and two? Also I made your bow tie breads and they were absolutely incredible! Sending love from California

Thank you, I live in CA too😊 After you put the butter in, use low speed to knead the dough, It will take about 3 minutes to let the butter in the dough. then turn to higher speed, it will take about 6 minutes to get the glove film dough.

I have made this and is very soft and nice. However, the next day it started to get a bit harden. May i know is it normal or the dough was under knead?
