The Clio Kill Black waterproof liquid eyeliner is the BEST out of all the brands I've tried! It comes with a brush tip or felt tip but both work just as well and it stays the entire day I've had it on for 12 hrs and still looks almost the same as when I put it on in the morning! I swear by this now and I dont think I'll be looking for another eyeliner brand anytime soon

The physician's formula eye booster eyeliner is my favorite eyeliner. It's the pen style but a pretty cheap drugstore alternative that is just as good as the high end ones. It is super easy to use and lasts a long time!

I have oily monolids so I know the struggle! On top of that my tiny crease disappears and reappears when it wants to on the left side... so rather than going for the same "shape" I always just have to check for evenness on both open eyes. My faves I always repurchase are Urban Decay's 24/7 liquid liner in Perversion, and Club Clio's Kill Black Pen (the pen nor the brush). They're both very black and have staying power and aren't a pain in the butt to wash off! After primer though, I set it with some eyeshadow first or translucent powder. I find the eyeliner doesn't melt off when I do this ^^

Maybelline Line Stiletto liquid eyeliner has been my favorite. i have said bye to Lancome artliner for years now. i used blackest black back when i had dark hair color then switched to brownish black by accident recently. i have been loving it since because i have blonde hair now. the brownish black doesnt look dark at the beginning but then oxides into a darker brown. it's perfect for lighter hair colors.

Try out the Kat Von D one I used here if you haven't tried it yet but skip the pencil step altogether. If that doesn't work, try MAC liquilast liner with plenty of dry time before you blink! It's the most waterproof one I've ever tried 👍

Mote Liner is my favourite brush - the brush tip is specifically designed by calligraphy brush makers, so it glides on your eyelids so smoothly.

I've been using that Kat Von D Tattoo Eyeliner for the past few years now and I still love it, glad you love it too! I have however found a new favourite from The Face Shop recently for a much lower price that works just as beautifully for precise lines - it's called the "Ink Graffi brush pen liner" and the colour I have is "ink black" ^^

I couldn't focus that well because I was just thinking about how perfect your eyebrows are w/o make-up! 4:08 *LOOK AT THAT PEOPLE.* I'm trying to grow mine out like yours (been 1 & 1/2 years so far) & my left eyebrow just does not want to do what my right is doing. I like the Tony Molly Gel Eyeliner. My favorite eyeliners are Tony Moly's gel eyeliners (black and brown), etude house play 101 pencil in #1 black, and Clio brush pen liner. They are all amazing and smudge the least of anything else I've ever tried. On my Korean eyes, every single eyeliner I've ever tried in my entire life has smudged. I've yet to find "smudge proof" eyeliner (I'm convinced they don't exist for us), but the above mentioned ones perform the best for me and work even better with some primer.

Jen, I would totally recommend Marc Jacobs liquid eyeliner in black. I have been wearing makeup for 16 yrs & living in a humid/tropical city, my eyeliner tends to smudge within 4 hrs (once my eyelids & skin starts to get oily) despite me using eye primer. I've tested MJ's liquid eyeliner & it remained perfect even after wearing for 12 hours! I didn't even touch up! Do let us know if u manage to try out the product =]

I have really oily lids and have have always been loving the stila liquid eyeliner, but it flakes on me very often. Recently I found the Clio kill black liquid eyeliner and it feels like a tattoo on the eyes! It easily removes with make up remover and also doesn't flake at all during the day. The eyeliner is hard to find since it's a korean brand, but its worth trying.

My old go to for a super super waterproof and very black liner was GOSH's extreme liquid eyeliner, but I think it has been discontinued. The only comparison I've found to it is MAC's liquidlast liquid liner. It does flake after a full day, but my lids tend to get quite oily and I'm too lazy to use primer, so maybe that would help you!

Chanel made an eyeliner that doesn't smudge even when you take it off, I don't know what the consistency is called but you can just peel it off. I tried it and it's amazing it even has a brush tip and it's really dark black. Like I said what I love about it is that it doesn't smudge at ALL!

I love the Sephora 12-hour liquid liner in the pot with the brush. The ELF is said to be a dupe but having both, the ELF isn't as pigmented (more of a dark gray than a true black) and I found that after a while, it gets a bit flaky. Also, the brush tip on the Sephora one is a lot sturdier and provides much for controls for beginners.

Recently I have been using Surratt n Tom Form liquid eyeliners... these are pretty good but I cannot decide which I like better - TF for smudge proof and Surratt for its short handle... Both have excellent brush bristles... I am still wondering if eye lining should be in my routine cos even mascara application is not part of my routine...

It's all about practice! After watching a ton of tutorials, it still took me weeks of applying everyday to get it down. It went from like 20 minutes to less than 3 now, after like 2 years of putting eyeliner on semi-regularly (I don't really put on makeup for school), and even now I make mistakes and have to erase and start over! But I'm definitely getting better, and I'm sure you will too! Keep trying~~ you can do it (/*o*)/

Eyeliner was one of the first things I started with when I started playing with makeup and it's honestly practice...every eye shape is different heck my two eyes are even a bit different I have to tweek it to make them look the same. Now i look back and in pictures i think what did I do there but you get better at it everyday 😊 good luck!
