Dale, I definitely agree on seeing one deer, very happy to see anything! I hunt in New England, very different from midwest, I’ve harvested some good bucks in my life but takes time and alot of scouting! Thanks for another great video

Thanks buddy.Not promising many pictures of deer up here,but I'll be hitting it next week again.I'll try that spot again also,because I know there's bucks passing through there. Take care and good luck,if you are hunting.

Thanks kelly. In my prime i used my longbow on everything from moose caribou hogs and deer. Getting harder to pull. This recurve is less poundage,and less stacking. Good luck to you.

EverCalm is the real deal! I like the liquid in little scent bombs, but the felt pads look good too!!

Thanks for the commentAll in all the liquid is very good.I have to agree.

That’s hunting on Public Dale sometimes you see em and sometimes you don’t! What a great spot you had and maybe during the rut! Can’t wait for the rut I usually start seeing the Bucks around October 25 and that first week of November is hot! 🦌🦌Good luck buddy!🦌

ya, the timing is about the same every year.I just like to be out there,and see whats going on in the woods.
@nightingaleofsorrow93495 күн бұрын
Exactly! Sometimes the best days are when the Leaves are rustling and the geese honk overhead. Any day is a great day when you are in the wild places!

I like those early november cold blustery mornings with flocks of divers coming down from Canada flying overhead.Bucks love it.

Dale, absolutely love your posts. I hunt in Bayfield County. What county are you in? So much of what you post is relatable to my hunting area…except you seem to have deer in yours 😂

thanks for the comment.I'm in Vilas county.Wel i'll tell you something.After coming out of the woods an hour ago scouting,you wiuld swear there isnt a deer in the woods.And yet a week and a half ago they came out.I'll tell you what,its hot out there.

Great video Sir! I’m shooting the same bow with longbow limbs, really like it. Great idea using artificial foliage for your ground blind set up. We’re you sitting on a stool or chair?
@Buckman-1015 күн бұрын
Thanks for the comment Jim. A lot of times I am on my knees,depending on the ground. That spot I use a little stool.Just a little 3 legged fold up.nice and light.

Another great video, Dale. Very familiar country to where I grew up and bow hunted for many decades until 4 years ago when we moved south to get away from the extreme cold and snow. How do you like that Black Hunter bow? I like mine but I prefer the longbow limbs. Good luck and enjoy the flight of an arrow amongst Mother Nature’s Glory!

Well that always seem to play a part of the role.Just came out of the woods scouting,and it's also very hot.The deer in the woods behind my house are literally panting,as they suck up leaves as fast as they are falling.

Are you shooting plastic vanes or feathers with your recurve? Thank you really appreciate your time making these
@Buckman-1015 күн бұрын
Thanks for the comment Jack You know,years back i made my own arrows,but through the years i have used vanes due to the durability.Are they esthetically pleasing to the whole trad thing,not really,but im quite happy with them. I practice shooting always at 30 yards,and they fly great.
@jimboettcher25033 күн бұрын
What type arrow rest do have on your bow?
@Buckman-1013 күн бұрын
Thanks Jack. This year I am us vanes due to the durability I used to make my own arrows,so it really didn't matter if I abused them in any way.
@Buckman-1013 күн бұрын
JIM,you probably wouldn't believe me if I told you.But anyway it one of the best arrow rest I ever had,due to the fact that the bottom vane or feather does not hit anything passing by the riser. A command hook for little towels etc.Peel and stick commands. If you wish to see it up close I can email a picture.Just reply to: Streubeldale@gmail.com
