I was in London 2 weeks ago and the amount of people that spoke to me just to ask about my camera (X100VI) was amazing. In Lisbon people are not that curious or invested in photography yet so you can walk around and while people might stare at you, not a lot come to talk to you.

Subbed! Please don't get mad but I just posted an Anti fuji x100vi video. Just trying to help my fellow poor photogs that are burning with jealousy from all these sexy machines getting shown off online. You got some great frames on this walk man! Dog photos always help me knock off the yips when I get going. That construction shot really drew me in with the two orange vests intersecting the wire fence. Then that umbrella moment was intriguing, what secrets are they sharing? Lol that guy staring at the footballer at 3:42. Perfect moment. Anyway, I'm mad jealous man I love shooting street but I'm just making due out in rural TX. Looking forward to seeing more of your work. Have a blessed day. Happy snapping!

Some nice shots there David, i go to London once a week for some street photography in differant areas. I was in the Barbican last week i love it there, i'm loving my X100VI too.

do you crop while shooting? whats your favorite focal lenght?

Hey Gambino, I love the 35 for street as it’s wide enough and looks great in most scenarios. I do crop in post if necessary and only if it makes the image stronger. I never shoot in the crop mode. I try to get closer physically. Hope that all makes sense.

@@GambinoTattoo I’ve cropped some of my images by 50% which still gives you a 20mp file. I think that’s amazing. And all looks great. Especially for social posts. And pretty confident for print too. Still to test that. Happy shooting and catch you in the comments 🙌🏼

@mrottomaddox Refusing to talk to them would be a good way to make them suspicious of you. Of course if you are ever arrested, don't talk to them at all unless you have a solicitor present and not the duty solicitor!

@@david_walsh Was the police officer checking you out or was he interested in photography? Do you get stopped by the police often when you are out filming?

@@stevebarlow3154 Hey Steve, he was interested in photography and we had a nice chat. It was a lovely interaction. Showed him some of my snaps and he liked them very much. I’ve never been stopped by a police officer and can’t see why I would ever be stopped. In the uk you are allowed to photograph in public places. ✌🏼

@@david_walsh I'm glad you had a positive experience. I think they must choose police officers for their maturity and good nature when posting officers to the tourist areas. But it is not always so, I remember one professional photographer that had to carry around a copy of the law related to public photography provided by his professional association, after being hassled by police officers that didn't know their law and officious security guards.
