Yay for supportive husbands. I just bought the ND Retro palette (not the new one, the one that came out last year). I was happily swatching and playing and my husband was all, "You wanted that for a full year before buying it? Why? You love it so much." I told him it was kind of expensive and he just shrugged and told me that he sometimes spends that much on a single afternoon of golf and I wear makeup every day and deserve treats too. Allie! Put all pallets with same or matching colors together, then shift down to the best. You’re not really getting rid of anything! But youre keep pallets with very similar colors . PLUS YOU GET PR YOU WILL BE DOING THIS AGAIN!!! Declutter and donate to those who would love it.

Allie, I really love how passionate you are about makeup ❤ I also love how your husband supports your interest :) I don't think anyone here would judge you because you don't declutter a lot. We are already here as we also enjoy makeup so much and we get that connection. I know that some people don't get our enthusiasm, but we really feel like we're in wonderland when we're playing with makeup. I am a student and I work part-time, so I don't have a lot of money but I still save and buy one product every once in a while. I keep them in one drawer I just love to play with them, show them to my friends, and create looks with them. I know I could not declutter a lot even if I had so many products (especially eyeshadows), cuz I really am inspired by just looking at them🤭. You are so good at your job because you love it so much. It is really joyful to see someone that has that passion and is here to share that with us. You are so sincere, and we just love you so much :) P.S.: Congrats on your new family member! I *just* did a huge declutter of my eyeshadows. The easiest for me was tossing anything that had hit its expiry date. So that was pretty much all my Urban Decay palettes, including my OG naked palette. I was sad, but tbh it was so old that the texture was becoming crumbly and was starting to look terrible on my lid, so I was just keeping it around because it's discontinued. Expired eyeshadows do no one any favours lol. I now have five palettes left (two large, three small), which are newer and fresher, in formulas I know I absolutely love and will use.

I would love to see you do another look with the naked HEAT palette. It’s my favourite owned pallete ( I don’t own many 😅) but specifically the last shade ‘Ember’… I don’t know how to incorporate it in a look. It’s always looks weird when I use it. I think it's worth acknowledging that for you these palettes are tools for your work, and many were received for free. As a regular makeup consumer, even with a passion for eyeshadow, this amount of eyeshadow palettes would put me into debt and make no sense for me to own.

So the Too Faced Natural Eyes palette is one of my favourite everyday go-to palettes. I notice I tend to lean more toward the cool/neutral tones so I love this palette for that reason. I have never ever been attracted to a Huda palette until you showed that nude palette and I don't know if she still sells that but it's the first I have actually thought I'd use. I love adventurous colourful makeup on others but every day makeup for me working in a bank---I'm a boring babe. lol

Omg you could do little “capsules” and put together bins of different full faces using the foundations, palettes, etc that you want to revisit! Then you can do videos every so often with each bin and get use out of all of the products you wanted to be sure to either revisit or try! And you already will have a full face of make up set out for you (assuming you’re doing blush, bronzer, etc declutters!) ❤️

I’m a huge fan of Your decluttering style! I believe that many of us declutter the same way. Especially when it comes to our eyeshadow palettes, and I’ll make up in general. When you are a true lover and collector, it’s hard to do clutter the things that you love. Even if you’re not using it, it doesn’t mean that maybe you won’t or even if it is expired just to know that you had that gorgeous pallet in your collection.
