Along with all 6 Ultimate Digimon attack Eyesmon together, my personal highlight was when Palmon was comforting a terrified Mimi. Especially since, even though she has no idea what the food Mimi was talking about is, she knew enough that enjoying such a treat meant a lot to her; thus, what better way to calm her nerves than to remind her of that goal? That if she steels herself now, they'll be able to enjoy an Avocado Burger together later.

I loved that moment as well I forgot to mention that in the review. The digimon have more character now than in previous incarnations which is refreshing to see. What do you was that dark snake digimon that came right at the end of the episode?

This was my favourite episode in the reboot so far. For me it just had everything I want from an interesting start with the kids thinking they are back in Tokyo and an epic fight at the end.

Epic, epic, real epic episode! Love this episode! I agree with all you've said in this video! Mimi was such a fresh breeze in this series! And she was so human, a girly girl-human that should be scared to saw her beloved city turn into the worst.. and Palmon encourages her with 'her and Mimi's own words', short but sweet and meaningful exchange! I laughed the first time Mimi said Burger JACK and automatically thought that it was a parody of Burger KING.. and then when I thought of Jack, the first thing came to my mind was.. KOUSHIRO.. Yes in the terms of cards, I think Koushiro is the Jack (and Ace at the same times?), that on the contrary of popular belief (at least in my country) that Jack is the Prince, is actually the Prime Minister or the King's Advisor, or at least the Minister.. hahaha... I just had a little bit of put off by the inconsistence of the size of the main Perfect/Ultimate level Digimon in this episode. Remember the difference of size between MetalTyranomon and Greymon, then Okuwamon and Kabuterimon (at least there were 10 times bigger differences) and then they were finally on the similiar size when Greymon and Kabuterimon digivolved to their Perfect/Ultimate level? It didn't show up in the previous episode, when Ikkakumon battled Mammothmon.. He just around two times bigger, and when Ikkakumon digivolved to Zudomon, they were on equal size.. But look at this episode! MetalGreymon, AtlurKabuterimon, Garudamon and Zudomon were in the same size!!! HOW??? I know that in 1999's series, they all indeed had almost the same size.. but please.. try to be more consistent TOEI... But I still love this version's Zudomon than the 1999's, he was much more energetic and can do fast, the 1999's potrayed him as a more slow-as-turtle because all of the burdens in his body.. Can't wait to see the next episode! Orochimon in 'Tokyo'? Taichi and YAMATO on shining MetalGreymon? Wooow.. epic!

I love your points I think as well even greymon looked small when they exited the train station it’s an inconsistency which they need to fix because the size of a digimon plays a big part in the battle. But yes overall I’m loving the new series so far.

@@DimzysDomain There was one part where Lillymon looked like an ant when everyone was standing on the ground and Weregarurumon was nearly the same size of Garudamon. It's funny because their sizes have never been consistent, even back in the 1999 original. Remember when Togemon fought DarkTyranomon? She was much bigger than usual in that episode.

Same I never like it when the main crew in an anime splits it’s cliche and I never liked yes it has upsides other character get to shine but it still feels long when we know eventually that they have to re-unite again.

Man, you're so quick with the vids lol. One thing I have to say is anime cartoons never fail to creep you the hell out. Everything about this episode was creepy, creepy, creepy. I really thought they were back in Tokyo until things started getting weird at the subway station. I had to keep rewinding the part with the arrow turning in a different direction because I kept missing it. I knew something was weird because they were putting emphasis on it and then I finally noticed that the arrow had changed direction. I was so into what was going on that I didn't even realize the show was ending until the credits and music started playing, lol. This really was a good episode.

I think after they defeated eyemon, whatever it was protecting will be revealed and they will get an answer or at least a clue that was left behind similarly to the episode of where we were introduced to the holy digimon by a hologram but it’s of a battle of the past. I also think they might introduce TK in the next episode. The main villain might be Millenniummon because it has the dark spores and needs them to revive itself. Plus all of the villains we have been introduced to are parts of it when it is Kimeramon which include Devimon,Kuwagamon, and Monochromon.

Well... screw my diet, this episode put me in the mood for a few cheese burgers. Maybe double cheese burgers. With a strip of bacon in the middle. Also, that scene with hungry Mimi saying Palmon looks like an avacado got me laughing. I don't think Palmon would work as part of your 5 a Day. Seeing Garudamon, Zudomon and WereGarurumon joining the battle was epic. And placing X-Treme Fight there instead of during Tai's team's Digivolutions was a great idea. Also, i believe that snake at the end, Orochimon, was Digivolved from Eyesmon. We see a small piece of Eyesmon remain, then they see it, it's grown into a snake shadow, and has digicode around it as it becomes one of Orochimon's many heads.

Before I comment on this week's episode... Episode 11-15 when they are separated into two teams is making sense to me... I see it as the Ultimate arc (Because of the Ultimate Digivolutions) but also in this episodes we kinda focus more of the Digidestined personalities... Now in this week's episode... THIS IS AN EPIC EPISODE... I agree with you from the start to finish its WOW!!! I like that the fact Mimi is not aware about the situation while Tai and Izzy is doubting the situation... But not in a bad way because as we see in the earlier episodes she is so innocent in terms of things because she is raise in a rich setting. I sense creepiness in the earlier scenes but it turn to horror until they get to the subway... You know one thing that I notice in this reboot... I don't know if I am noticing it or just me is that the Digimon are not just protecting their partners but also the other Digidestined because in the original version they will just move if their respective partner is in danger. Mimi and Palmon scene touch me... I know Mimi said that she will treat Palmon after this battle is not that she is aware of the situation but for me it has a deep meaning to it... It show Mimi's pure and kindness and also Palmon's ability to calm her in a scary situation. The first part of the battle was FIERCE... The determination on Tai, Mimi and Izzy was like instead of the Digimon are fighting is like they were also in the battle you can sense that strength in them until they make the 3 Digivolved into their Ultimate was awesome.... The second part of the battle when Matt, Sora and Joe appeared is also EPIC and when all 6 Ultimate Digimon went on a full battle... It was like you see in the Episode 5 when they saw the Mega Digivolution in the battle but in this episode the Ultimate was in a battle... It gave me goosebumps because we will anticipate in that scenario in the future... I am happy that the 6 children are reunited once again but in the next episode I know they will have another battle to face... In Kari scene... It makes you think if she really know something the way she smiles All in All it was an EPIC EPISODE as of this moment...

I have noticed it as well. The digimon would normally follow orders and agree with what the digidestined would be doing. But here we have the partner digimon give them a boost in confidence which was a nice touch. There the ones guiding the team rather than the other way round.

There’s a reason why eyesmon was so powerful for an Adult level Digimon because not only will he evolve into a perfect Orochimon but also further into an ultimate Nidhoggrmon. I think this will set up a dark evolution from Metalgreymon to Mugendramon, then a real evolution and stomp with WarGreymon against Nidhoggrmon

The episode was awesome and interesting. I know something was off when the fake Tokyoites/people ignore the digimon since they would react to anything out of the ordinary. Mimi craving for an Avocado cheeseburger makes want to order food. As for the MotW, I thought it was it was cool that an adult/ champion level digimon aka Eyesmon to use its surroundings to fight against the higher rank digimon. Although it is a shame that it is on the same level as Shademon.

I liked this episode had some creepy vibes though with the worker at the burger restaurant. Again Devimon has to be super strong we still haven’t seen him yet. I also had a feeling that this wasn’t the real Japan. I was like why was no one shocked that there’s a tiny walking dinosaur in Agumon and the other monsters a person would be shocked about. Oh yeah would’ve liked to see the two teams meetup but what they did worked too.

I have this idea about a new digimon anime show based on the pendulum z, I call it digimon adventure Z or just Digimon Z, my ideas for main characters partners are. Sunarizamon > Golemon > Gogmamon > Ancientvolcamon Gaomon > Gaogamon > Machgaogamon > Miragegaogamon Morphomon > Hudiemon >??? > Ancientbeatlemon I think. Sangomon > Shellmon > Scorpiomon or Gosukomon > Ancientmermaidmon Ghostmon > Witchmon > ??? > Ancientsphinxmon maybe And what ever new rookies they might introduce in series 2 of pendulum z And as for enemies Argomon and eyesmon/nidhogmon can still be used Also Eosmon and ghoulmon would great main antagonists.

I also got to say that episode freak the heck out of me I don't like the eye thing. But very creative and very original I don't think the old original had the eyeball or i eyeballmon I guess it's what you call it. Where I Belong created every guess who I called a illusion of the human world. And try to kill them I think no actually they tried but I'm glad they got away but that was very good.

It's safe to say the kids will need another deus ex Machina once Orochimon evolves into Nidhoggrmon. I hope to god we don't go to Ultimate this early.
