I'll agree with you on the sound-- I'd say some of the more actiony tracks are almost on-par with some of Contra: Hard Corps' stuff. Other than the title screen & level backgrounds, I completely disagree on looks, though-- it's nearly identical to the NES version.

No way. No fucking way. This is on original hardware (or an emulated facsimile), no joke? I've seen tons of Genesis games that took the music and graphics to 10 but this is an 11.

Is it just me, or do the graphics give off a Lady Sia level of mid? The game itself doesn't look that bad, but...something about the graphics are oddly familiar, and I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe the game reminds me of Lady Sia too much? I played it a good bit on the GBA when I was younger, so this game gives me those kinds of vibes for some reason.
