Thank you 🙏 Yes it’s so good to have that quality family time ☺️ Yes a few challenges to be expected on a big trip and JB Caravans have been amazing, despite the issue being on a 3rd party product. Fantastic that you’ve also experienced the Eyre Peninsula. We loved every moment!

You certainly experienced diverse weather conditions but what sensational beach locations to cool down and view the stunning coastline. Unfortunate air conditioner issues but good to see you discussing the problems and solutions too along the trip which is so useful for ‘Lappers’. Coffin Bay definitely looks a good option to get those essentials done (despite its name) and the oysters look great too. Happy travels.

Yes have to expect the ups and downs when travelling. The Eyre Peninsula area is stunning. So much to see. Next episode we’ll share some of the Coffin Bay National Park which is quite impressive

Good to see the peninsulas in SA are living up to their reputation of being stinking hot and blowing their guts out at times. Shame you can't stay longer in some of these areas as there's plenty to see besides the places that everyone seems to go to. Not sure if you're aware of it but National Park camping in Victoria, I assume all parks, is free until 30th of June but it would pay to book pretty early as a lot of popular places will be booked out already. We got a week at a campground with only 4 sites on the Glenelg River earlyish next year and we were the only ones who had booked the place.

Haha yeah it was windy and hot for sure 😂 Yeah its a balance of seeing as much as we can, but also not being on the move every day which is very tiring. Yes seen the free camp spots thanks 👍 We’re currently booking Vic at the moment. Tricky also with school hols.

@@Perth4WDandCamping Yeah school holidays and things like Easter and public holidays can make it hard. We try and avoid them but it can cut out a chunk of available time. I'm guessing you will be looking at the Grampians, we went a couple of years back, but the fires atm could make a mess of that area again. Shame as it's a beautiful area if you don't mind the tourists and the weather changing every 15 minutes.

Yeah that area looks beautiful! We’ve been pretty spontaneous with our bookings to date but will need to be more organised as we head into VIC and NSW

@@Perth4WDandCamping Don't forget to look at Forestry Victoria for camping areas as well. We stay at one, there are 3 I believe, in the Big Desert in Victoria that are free. They're great campsites with gas bbq's, toilets and tank water. We have stayed a couple of times at Big Billy Bore campground and we loved it. You are in the Desert, although not a hard core Desert but it's quite nice, especially after a bit of rain. Your setup will get in there very easily and there's some tracks and things like silo art n the surrounding towns. I suspect that you will be going more around the coast but it's an option. Just don't try driving on the road in there if it rains.
