Just got a set for my 2005 cadiliac escalade esv. very easy to bend and route. Local dealer quoted me $1800 to replace all brake lines. Bought the kit for $130 shipped.

I just ordered mine for 2001 Tahoe. I hope I have the same luck. The shops wanted $1,500 for mine. Apparently they lift the cab off the frame in order to do the brake lines that’s why it cost so much. If you have any tips let me know.

@@HughesYerDaddy You definitely do not need to do that. The lines are installed on the frame first at the factory, but there are other safe ways to route the lines.

i just put this kit on my 1999 silverado. it was easier then prebent lines. the only issue is that the lines where about 3-4 inches longer than i needed. rather have long lines then too short. happy now i have to put on my soft lines. i had to do a complete brake job all new lines calipers rotors. .

I tired these way too soft easy to smash, or damage I don't trust they won't get damaged leak brake fluid. There is a reason factory design engineers continue to use steel lines all these years because they last years.

My 1990 volvo has factory copper lines that are still in perfect shape after 300k miles. Have done full stainless bre bent kits before (F150 and a grand cherokee) and it's kinda a pain. Does look good though. Going to try this on a 2004 super duty now. Once they are set nothing should be in contact with the hard lines.
