Great video! Installed one of those today, wasn't sure how to wire it, but you helped me. Thanks for that!

Ken takes the additional time to explain things in detail. Example, the plastic internal rib on the fitting and how he worked around that issue.

Thanks! I’ve been wanting to run the brush through mine but didn’t want to just rip it apart. It’s helpful just to see how it goes together. Trap=clean. Thanks

Thanks for noting the rib manufacturing issue inside the PVC fitting, I intend on dremelling it smooth!

I was thinking I could have tested mine by blocking the drain and filling up the line to confirm it would trip it out but you are correct to just drill it out.

You can tell he had to pause himself bc he was gonna say this is a payne - in the ass furnace. LOL

You want the ezz-trap to shut down everything at once so customer calls for service right of way and not at 10:00 PM where most likely will not get anyone to come out.

So far, everyone I asked, would rather have some air flow than no air flow. If it gets cooler outside and some windows are open, wouldn't the fan help with pulling in and circulating that cooler air?

10 PM? Here in the Bay Area it’s about 68 - 71 degrees F in the summertime at 10 PM we only use AC from about 3 PM to 7 PM if at all

How can you determine if you have a positive and negative pressure system. I understand with Negative pressure you want a P Trap. Thanks
@KenTraining3 жыл бұрын
you can tell in relation where the AC coil is located. If the AC coil is after the fan the coil is positive pressure. if the AC coil is before the fan, then the Coil will be under negative pressure (not common in residential).

Hi…my unit didn’t have the float install… so how can I clean my AC water drain ?
@KenTraining2 жыл бұрын
you need to cut open the drain line to gain access.

In your video the pipe is on the left n the red cap is on the right… my is opposite…may I know what the red cap for? The issue I have right now is my next gave the error code e74 no power… so I check the fuse is still good… there no water leaking around … n last night I try to wet vacuum outside pipe to unclog… the only last step I need to do is clean inside drain… but mine is different from all other video I watched… so the pipe on my right side I need to cut it ?

@@Xx_eeveemocha_xX Without me seeing your system its hard to give exact advice. But as general advice, if you want to flush the drain line with a water/ bleach solution, you will need to have an opening into the drain line to pour the solution. If you don’t have an opening and you can see the pipe discharge/outlet, you can connect your wet vac to that to try to suck out the drain line.

My ez trap doesn’t have the wires plugged into it… is that bad ?
@KenTraining3 жыл бұрын
yours will be fine. Bty, I saw another tech how says he does not glue the trap in but just pushes it on. That way he can remove it, if needed. What do you think?
