Neither Base gogeta nor brolys base do die due to the hardest difficult short content rn. Gogeta offers also rainbow orbchanging which helps out his team. I would definitely put gogeta at 6. compared to broly he is only mid for 1 turn AND is rainbow orb changing even in base. He is meant for slot 3 in base anyways which has less attacks most of the time. I don’t think it’s that big of a flaw. Then again my fights aren’t as short as yours and I feel the might of his active a lot more often

Yes and no. Yes they are still very good and almost every unit released this year have been either designed really well or got enough support to work effectively. (Although F2P units could be slightly better) But at the same time, even as someone who's F2P and doesn't have these potent rainbowed JP exclusive units to get to the final phase on turn 4 before they build up, there are lots of times where Broly and Gogeta are the ones killing me, not Int Buu or Teq Zamasu or GW SS3 Goku. And while Datruth DOES sound like despises Broly sometimes (and I kind of wonder if he does lol), a majority of his criticisms are valid. I think it's perfectly fine to complain about how long they take to get running, how item dependent broly is when you're running two of him, how Broly isn't providing utility until at least turn 5 (and that's with good RNG). If they had given base Broly 30% DR for his first 3 turns and loosened his restriction to just turn 4, then he'd feel a lot better. If they loosened gogetas restriction to turn 4 and gave him guard his first transformed turn, he'd be a lot better.

I've hated this since 7th anni. Power creep is out of control. Now we're getting major powercreep every few months. This is like the 2016/17 meta and that was HORRIBLE. Part of the reason I don't play Dokkan much anymore. It's not fun when you need Beast for every fight.

I feel like Truth is being a little inconsistent with his whole "it's not about the potential, it's about how they actually perform" thing. By that logic, he should definitely have AGL UI Goku above INT SSBE Vegeta, as the biggest point he had to have Vegeta over Goku was that Vegeta's revive was easier, but that clearly actually isn't the case if Truth is consistently seeing AGL UI Goku's revive over INT SSBE Vegeta's. That coupled with the figuring out how Goku's dodge chance works, and the fact that he can get two whole turns of guaranteed dodge, I just don't see the argument for Vegeta over Goku anymore especially given Truth's experience with the units

I think the gammas should be no10 or 9 because while they do struggle on turn 1 brolly struggle for 2 turns and even after he transform he is not a slot 1 unit, the gammas have support for the best category in the game by far and are insane tanks, gamma 1 has two turn support with is like his team protector macanic i remember how last year everyone where taking about how good int ssj4 goku and str bulma 2 turn support where, in addition the standby attack seals which can really help in cell max, like you said buuhan and brolly also struggles in the early fight.

I agree with the placements, but I disagree with how hard Truth is slandering these units and with his disregarding of 99% of relevant content to propagate being 100% at your best turn 1. 95% of relevant content's not hitting hard turn 1, and 90% of these units are only not at their best turn 1. Gogeta isn't bad in base. Should he have been better? Yes. Also, his transformation condition isn't bad. Broly's is godawful. Gogeta's isn't. Again, should it have been better? Yes. But that doesn't make it bad.

Honestly this list is spot on, except for AGL UI - i love my boy INT Vegeta but AGL UI and the dodging is just too strong. Dodge is the strongest mechanic in the whole game - you can take 0 damage from any attack. Now since Teq UI dodge canceling dodge domain; i see more value in AGL Ui now long term. Cell Max has a similar weakness, but when you are rocking the "meta" setups, it's gonna be really hard to go beyond turn 7 of the fight, and Agl Ssj3 goku is LITERALLY invincible for his first 3 attacking rotations, as opposed to a certain new Ui Goku that despite having Guard and damage reduction, takes 600k from a 2.7 million super AFTER the superattack, because his condition of transformation can actually lead to being caught by a super from the toughest bosses if he doesn't dodges, before he can actually transform and become a god)

@@StarNameKev Continuing the previous message, people think that Teq Ui goku has a "perceived, theoretical" weakness but that's actually something that makes you lose some of the hardest figths, for example, you will for sure blitz through the first phase and get killed by Evolution blue vegeta that cancel dodge, before Ui is ready to negate that, while Ssj3 goku and Cell Max are considered to be a good unit with a "real" weakness, but in practice these are just theoretical weaknesses that really don't show up unless in very specific situation, such as Movie boss rush fight / running bad setups on Gogeta fight for the sake of missions with bad categories

I think it's pretty unacceptable how anniversary units out of all units are already falling off. With the exception of Beast Gohan, the fact that Gogeta, Broly, and the Gammas aren't good anymore is just sad. Part of it has to do with the devs making the events way too hard. You would want to get your money's worth by beating all the events with the newest units, but it sucks knowing that the units you just spent a lot money and stones on aren't even worth it in the future.

Oh another note, is dokkan ever gonna address the manga super bosses characters like Moro and Gas and Black Frieza cause ummm that would be great for the game. Though they would have to create the animations, it would still be dope.

Remember guys he’s talking about units completely maxed out. For the majority of us were no where finishing the fight on turn 6. We will see gogeta and Broly transformations way more than him which means they are more valuable to us. Most of us are running 55%-79% units so our experience with these characters are going to be different than his in these tough fights

the way i see it is that in the case of U7 EZAs vs Gogeta: U7 EZAs are much much much better on every turn except for 1 singular turn where gogeta uses his taunt. Every turn before and every turn after they gap gogeta. In the case of the EZAs vs Broly: U7 EZAs gap broly until he transforms, and then he gets better than them moving forward. But realistically u only see this for 1 appearance of broly MAYBE 2 if ur lucky, even as a f2p. I don't see how 2 characters being better in 10% of the fight beat the other two who are better 90% of the time

@@beckyg5952I get your reasoning yeah; I do think that Gogeta is also better on his second turn (transformation turn) whereas GF/17 is still stacking in most instances (still great). But otherwise? Yeah. With the diversity in content length we have right now (short events like the most recent one, Kid Buu fight, etc; medium length like Gogeta, Beast; long ones like the Movies BR RZ, etc), I think differing views like this can coexist since there’s no real defining content that exists as rule for how a unit should be or should perform. I too do prefer consistency overall so I am sensitive to your argument, but I also think that since these units aren’t overwhelmingly different in performance, the fact that some have designated utilities that are pretty much essential to their main teams leads me to prefer them by a slight margin.

They should have given broly 50% Dr turn one and then 30% after that. Then when he transforms he should have kept the 30% and then had the additional 26% before attacking while his domain is up. He would have aged sooooo much better if they had just done something so simple and should have had to begin with when you compare him to beast

I’m also a global player & tbh the part 1 LR’s do feel underwhelming n base like I wish they were slot 1 good. It takes forever to transform them and they are counting on other units to carry them.

For you I agree with the tier list because everyone are rainbow and have more additional and critical so I understand why let's say ui and gogeta and broly are lower but for a f2p like me that don't even gets all of the characters ui is wai more effective and will show up way more than for you and ui is my absolute favorite character so for me he is in the beast and cell max level

I just don't agree with teq UI being that low, cuz his lowest maybe is five but that's until there's a long enough fight or a fight that "disables damage reduction". But I see what you mean so for now I'll keep my peace.
