Thank you for your post. I have only just set my machine up and I'm as green as can be. This is the first explanation that leaves me in no doubts about how to get it done. So congratulations on that, you do a great job. My machine is also a 50w so divulging your parameters is helping an incredible amount. Please keep posting.

Great vid. Another helpful tip, set the mark loops to 30 or 50, then it will draw each item that number of times, essentially stepping through all of your characters every second or two. It is useful sometimes.

my biggest problem is my machine will only let me laser metal if i make the picture small, if i do plastic i can make it big but, stainless or regular aluminum i can only shrink the pic to dime size for it to work. Even if i put the laser to full power

Good video, Thanks! I didn't realize that you could change the speed of the red light pointer. Also, It looks like you're using version 2.9; in the newer versions they've added a tick box on the bottom of the main screen that allows you to toggle on and off the 'show contour' feature. It has helped me a lot in quickly making sure I'm marking something straight since the simple outline red light box is easier to see than the contour sometimes. Anyway, I've got versions 2.14.2 and 2.14.0 of EzCad2. If you want them, I'd be happy to send them your way (I'm assuming you can just copy over your saved parameters to a newer version).

Hello sir, do you know how to turn on the laser pointer on EzCad 2.7.6? I've followed your instructions but I dont see the pointer at all, when I bought the machine the pointer was working but when I replaced the software into my computer the setting was gone, if you could help me I appreciate it, I can send you pictures of my actual settings, thanks in advance

On the centre point of the workspace it shows exactly where it the red light is on the text but why it's not accurate on the top and on the bottom of the workspace even though i've adjusted the red light offset multiple times pls help

Interesting, In parameters, field tab there are adjustments for scale and shape adjustments. Could be that you have not adjusted them to make a large square actually square. Or the pointer is not using the offset like when burning. You are the first person to mention that problem

Love these videos! They have helped out alot and deserve way more views and subs so thanks for making them. Could you do a video on converting "raster image" to vector in AI then exporting to Ezcad2? I'm stuck and its driving me nuts, i can use the image trace tool to get the desired effect i need, but when i export or use the AI file (AI 3) it only imports the trace outlines and none of the shading. I ultimately want to engrave images with the backgrounds cut out instead of the conventional square your restricted to using raster images.

Why is it when i have a pic that i want to put on a material ie steel i have to make it small for it to burn on, when its big nothing happens

Pictures are handled a different way. I would check your focus and settings. I will look into that.

Red light pointer not showing from yesterday....marking is working... Help me to fix this problem

If it was working and stoped, you may have a bad power switch for the pointer or the pointer died. The pointer is a small red laser unit in the head. You may have to open the head and look. Also it may have fallen out of the mount in the head. Good luck

F1 is preview F2 is mark. Does it work with F1 keyboard?. You may have to review the setting with the documents that came with your machine
