I was hoping to nab the preset from your new Made of Metal preset from your dropbox folder, but I could only find the old one in there. Anyway you could add the new one to your folder?

I love made for metal but I get not close as good mix as you how do approach mixing made for metal? Want to do a mix video?

I pretty much do the same mix process for all my mixes mate. Doesn't really matter what drums I use. I do have a mixing video on my channel, and I usually do a quick mix rundown at the end of all my videos to show what Im using with it. You can also download my presets for Made of metal that I use in my mixes to try out for yourself. The link is in the description.

Which snare did you use on your new preset? I looked up that black panther seemless. Its super rare!

So, I just checked, and I used the Ludwig 402 Supraphonic for this mix. I did just try out the Black Panther as well and it actually sounds really good!. The Made of Metal expansion has always sounded so good. Very underrated indeed!!

Hey man, I just discovered your channel. Thank you for all of the great content! Question, is upgrading from EZDrummer 2 to 3 worth the money? I still use EZD2 Made of Metal kit in some of my mixes but I have a hard time getting this kit to sit right in the mix.

@@codystephens948 for sure it is. Even just for the bright room kit that comes with ED3. Also you get a lot of midi grooves and the feature and look of the whole package is just a lot better than 2. In my opinion it’s definitely worth it. And you can still use your expansions in it as well and you also keep the base kits from 2.

Thanks for the reply. I’m deciding between upgrading to EZD3 and Josh middleton’s new plugin ultimate heavy drums. In your opinion, Which one is the most suitable for throwing in a mix with minimal tweaking?

@@codystephens948 honestly to me. Josh Middleton drums is my favourite drum plugin. It sits perfectly in a mix but again it totally depends on your style. It’s easy to use with great presets. The one downside is a lack of midi grooves. It does have some but not many and you can use the grooves from ezdrummer. If you are into metal, which I’m guessing the fact that you are viewing my channel you are, I would highly recommend ultimate heavy drums. I do have a video on my channel about it if you want to know more.
