What a nice trip with your Dad, many wonderful memories made. :). I really appreciate your respect for the fishes life. I used to fish and then attended a seminar my boss who is a marine biologist gave about pain in fish, it ended my fishing career. Lol. I am in no way against it for others but feel it should be done respectfully and humanely. Thanks for sharing your fishing trip. :) :)
@EzeAdventurer Жыл бұрын
Thanks Jacqueline! Yeah didn't take that lightly, as never intended to hook it in the eye .. but these things happen. I can understand how you could be put off from ever fishing again... there's nothing noble about it but I think we have these hunter gatherer instincts still built in, that in modern society we rarely exercise anymore, and thus fishing / hunting industry. Take care and thanks for watching!
@jacqueline7118 Жыл бұрын
@@EzeAdventurer Yes, things happen for sure and are sometimes beyond ones control. I totally agree with hunter gather instincts being innate behaviors, it is what our ancestors did so long ago. :) :) My Dad was a deer hunter so was exposed at an early age. He did reach an age though where he said he appreciated watching the deer in the woods more than having it on his plate. lol Thanks for your reply! :)

@@jacqueline7118 That's awesome re your dad! I understand that. I do think everyone would probably treat the world differently ( for the better) if they had to kill their meat... that vital link between humans and nature has been broken... I'm mostly plant based, for health benefits more than ethics, but definitely would help if we all ate a bit less meat 🙂

This was such a humbling video. Looking to get my dad out on a paddle and a camp with me this year too! Thanks for sharing Eze!

Thanks I appreciate it Jamie! It really was super special and can't recommend it enough. So rare to get true quality time with loved ones nowadays! Loved your LAST WILDERNESS video mate, so beautifully put together - congrats. If you are up for an adventure together sometime let me know :-)

Cheers @@EzeAdventurer ! You are certainly right about it being difficult to get quality time with this. I'm glad you enjoyed the film! Last year was a bit hectic for me and I struggled to make some more content. Plenty more to come this year though, we'll certainly have to get out on a paddle together!

@@EzeAdventurer when I went to Attleborough last year to look at them it was a toss up between your blue and the green, what swung it was the green one was second hand (used once) so cheaper.

I hope this is my son and myself later in life. Please check out his channel AdBenture Life. On our last trip we collected a bag of rubbish on an island on Loch Lomond, but in all honesty I was surprised with how little there was, someone must have cleaned up beforehand as the islands are renowned for their litter.
@EzeAdventurer2 жыл бұрын
Andy!! That warms my heart to hear that!! How amazing that there was a clean up!! Really makes me feel very happy and hopeful that change is possible, thanks for sharing. Enjoy your adventures and will try to check out that channel!
